There are salad kits that are like $3 and have everything including single serve dressing. Lots of frozen meal options too. Just having stuff on hand will save you so much.

This, pretend you have rent to pay, utilities, etc. The sooner you start pretending that money doesn't exist the easier it is to get a good strong savings account for emergencies, etc. That is step one that you can do without making any other changes. Take $800 off the rip and just put it somewhere you can't easily get to it.

Get a secondary bank account at another bank. Do not get a debit/atm card with it. Use the tools that basically every web portal has to transfer the money into that account. Usually, it takes a few business days to move. This works because if you need it, you can get it... but you won't have it to pay for whatever impulse purchase you are thinking about on demand. If you still want in a few days; then you can still buy it.

IMO, the next thing that will have the most impact on you is figuring out how to stop uber eats all together. I haven't done the math... but the difference between having it delivered and picking it up is sometimes 1/3 or more and that is AFTER you've spent the "eating out" money. Call it meal planning, meal prep, whatever... but having food that is quick and easy to get ready WHEN you are hungry will help. That doesn't mean having loads of snacks... because that just transfers the problem. I made a big pot of beef veggie soup and had lunch (and a few dinners) for almost a full week from it. Probably cost me what one of your uber eats bills would be to make.

Because the city council can't change what happens elsewhere; but they CAN affect the local area(s). This is like saying there is no reason to not throw a log on the fire because someone else is going to do it anyway. If you BOTH throw a log on it will burn twice as long. If only one does the overall impact is less.

That is a dumb reason to not do something locally... just because something that can happen somewhere else can affect you, it doesn't mean you don't try to impact your local area.

I'd argue going to the principal is also the right call here. School Board as well. The enforcement of the dress code is absolutely inappropriate! They are making girls, remove clothing, to check EVERYTHING they are wearing. It does not matter what is under the sweater there is no reason for them to take it off.

Now, if a student has a tank top on under it, and at some point, they take it off on their own, THEN it can be a dress code problem. Not before.

I did say, never mind the fact dude is a douche canoe. Other projects have been 'cancelled' for less. However, I do think his opinions are an entirely valid reason to hate the "product"... especially when the product is a bunch of scripts and not really anything more.
