In a little more detail,Morgan Freeman was the leader and his name came up in the loom that gives them their targets and he hid it. Everyone else's name came up over time and Morgan Freeman hid those too and gave them different targets, choosing targets rather than letting the loom decide. Main character in new recruit and not named by the loom, discovers Morgan Freeman was named. Morgan Freeman tells them all that their names have come up over the years and challenged anyone to kill them. Couple of them say things along the4 line of "Fuck no" or "Fuck the Loom."Angelina Jolie is the only one of the hitmen who's a true believer in the loom and says "bet" and kills them all including herself because she was named.

Its the perfect balance of stupid and weird without being obnoxious. If it's an ad they did good. If its not an ad they need to contact this man and hook him up with some more pickles for the free advertising he gave them.

This shit happens on reddit. The amount of r/AITAH or /r/confession etc that have some sort of line about "I don't give permission for this story to be shared outside of reddit." is insane that people think that means anything.

Honestly the fact that it didn't turn into a WWE fight on the front lawn is one of the reasons this BoRU doesn't seem like a creative writing assignment to me. A calm restrained reaction is the opposite of most of those posts.

I have a super religious cousin who just had her 9 pound 2 month preemie. You're no fooling anyone and no one cares either because not even her parents are religious. She's the only one who cares and at this point I'm pretty sure she believes it. Self gaslighting to protect her religious purity.

Just cause I find the literature from the city lacking in describing fares (or im just an idiot) if you tap on, ride the bus for 20 minutes and tap off its still full 2.75 fare. There is no partial fares. And if you take the bus again for 20 minutes later that day but after 90 minutes of your first ride you get a second charge. Tapping off doesn't pause your 90 minute time it just gives you the time you rode the first bus as bonus time to your 90 minutes.

I just had my rear shocks done at a dealership and went to swap on my winter tires a week later. They tightened them so much I broke a socket on one of them and stripped the chrome cover off another and had to switch to a 18mm socket to get one that fit. Ten years of doing my tires myself and torquing to spec with a torque wrench never had an issue. One day in a shop and they just blast them on tighter then Satan's anus.

Also the movie was made before facebook and smart phones so people didn't really have readily available online footprints. Goblin was probably wanting him to point him out in the office since he only had the name and the newspaper to go off of.

On a business trip we were given a bunch of free branded promotional crap. Pens, flash drives and other crap but we were also given travel grooming kits. Not thinking anything of it I stashed it all in my carry on since I wasn't checking bags on the flight home. Nothing ever came of it at security. Once I unpacked my bag at home I looked at the kit. It had nail clippers, toe nail clippers, a small pair of scissors, and a razor. I think that really solidified in my mind that much of TSA is security theater.

Typically you start getting those feature if you do more banking with them. Like have an investment account of 10k, or a credit card in good standing and you get these everyday banking fees waived. For someone who has to worry about overdraft fees those aren't very helpful.

Some people are really touchy about even the smallest 'spoilers'. Like when the endgame trailer dropped that showed iron man on earth with the others I remember several threads complaining in the comment section. What did you think he was just gonna die on titan?

In SimCity 2000 there was a microwave power plant that worked by beaming energy collected by solar satellites down to earth via microwaves. The power plant was effectively a giant satellite dish for catching these microwaves. There was a small chance of a beam missing the dish and causing fires near the power plant.
