I was just coming to say, she stole that from us redditors lol

Before i had a basement, I kept the carriers out from time to time. Usually throw a toy or a blanket in there. For fire alarms- id use a Churu to coax them close enough from their hiding spot to grab them. For tornadoes, luckily those sirens don't bother them, and the are velcro cats so id casually go into the bathroom and close them in, go get the carriers and come back. Now I have a basement and keep the carriers down there and they have followed down with no issues during a few tornado scares this year.
