This happened to me, except I still work there.

I started my new job, and the team is embedded at our client, so they were using [email protected] email addresses instead of [email protected]

There was a hold up, and they didn't get my client email in time so gave me a company one, but no one told my boss.

I was told my boss would chat me by 10 AM my first day, and reached out to HR when he didn't, they told me just to wait. I emailed every few hours until at 4 he finally chat me and said no one told him, and he was wondering why I wasn't responding all day.

There are a few things to digest in your response here. I'm not going to downvote you because you're wrong. I'm going to try and tackle a few on mobile, so forgive the format.

Yes, most murders aren't racially motivated. In fact, most murders are committed against their own race (this is a reason why "black on black" crime is shit. But that's not your point).

The problem with this case, and what you're failing to see, is these guys didn't leave to kill a black man. They aren't your KKK hood wearing white guys who said "you know what we need to do today is kill at least 10 niggers each! " Flash bang, oh shit someone recorded it.

What they had was an implicit bias that this black guy is "the guy that has been robbing areas around here and we're gonna get em"

He was just a dude jogging. This same implicit bias goes beyond holding a purse when a black person walks in the elevator. It hurts them getting jobs when black sounding names get less call back than white sounding names.

This bias also spills over in police work. In San Francisco, they found that black people accounted for 15% of all traffic stops, despite being only 5% of the the population.

We're not saying every white person is a racist, and every one of you is hunting us, but the cards feel stacked against you because of above points made.
