Maybe if he intend to make 15 degrees turn? Or perhaps he keeps a spare tailgate or tongue jack.

WickedLiquid

Aren't you missing the lower cable?

WickedLiquid

Yes yes and yeeeesssss!

I'm getting ghosted by two law firms so far 48 hours without a reply.

Expanding my search to 1h away.

WickedLiquid

Thank you. I stumbled on this as well. Did the search and nothing, just a note that boundary drawings exists (wich we obtained at house purchase).

WickedLiquid

I am investigating what you brought to my attention.

Just checking.. am I understanding you correctly? A 2006 build will have these iron bars buried to mark the property?

WickedLiquid

Hahaha! Right?

Causing damage to their property is kind of not where I want to go through.

WickedLiquid

Yes. Familiar with it as Journeying. Be one with yourself and let no external element, whether tangible or intangible.

Fact is.. I invested half a million for set boundaries, bountiful shared, gifted and altruistically shed blood for all and also for them.

I want to be able to stop working at some point. And it involves having all of my half a million dollars investment respectfully mine.

WickedLiquid

Yes.

WickedLiquid

I agree. In any case, they'll foot the bill when litigation comes through

WickedLiquid

Yes! If they dont pay up, I will own a lien on their property. Solvency is not a concern, I will seek compensation for time spent and cost, travel, time away from work etc.

Thanks for your wishes.

WickedLiquid

I think I needed to hear that. Plus.. resale value!

Thank you for your perspective

WickedLiquid

Right. It is a definitely great option. It can be perceived as escalation though. I still need to live beside them, share a wall and yards.

WickedLiquid

Yes, it won't necessarily hold up in court, but it may make them take corrective actions.

WickedLiquid

Thanks for that. It is what I concluded.

All the previous things I let slide will be on the litigation docket.

WickedLiquid

Yeah, it's $6k here. Trying everything before it comes to that.

Survey alone won't make them do anything. They removed my half of the 6x6 of our retaining wall. They replaced theirs, but not the other half they took out

WickedLiquid

Will try. Thank you. I wrote them off when I read on property lines conflicts

WickedLiquid

I did, and they picked flight (ghosting). Polite, stern, showing logic.. nothing. Theres no reasoning happening. My fight will be to seek damages while demonstrating a repetitive and pervasive behaviour in willfully passively aggressively impacting my ability to enjoy my property.

WickedLiquid

City i live in recluse themselves from any land boundaries dispute.

Yes about stern messages.

WickedLiquid

In my experiences, it just leads to more and more and more ..

Ever been bullied? Ask the bully why they do it, and give em a cookie. They'll bully your enemies.

WickedLiquid

That was my thoughts. At least, with the GPS coordinate I was hoping that the neighbour would grow some sense.

Lawyer meeting request is sent.

WickedLiquid

Thank you for your perspective. We are townhouse neighbour. We each own the builder's fence (one single panel) that is East. Their fence starts on their side, and crosses the single pannel fence by a foot.

I was enjoying my spa in my yard, it's against the west property line. They advised they'll build a fence, I went sure, and since I dont want one, make sure to follow the bylaws and if you don't know where the line is, its recommended to be 6 inches on your property.

I've been cutting their grass for 4 years, share meals and birthdays together.

I told them that we could go half and half, make it real nice, and on the property line. They just started digging and ghosted us.

After the derecho, I went on the roof of the townhouses with their permission, and tarped the damaged shingles to stop flooding.

WickedLiquid

I have GPS coordinate from og build.

WickedLiquid

I tried talking, being nicetelling then they're in the wrong etc. They said they'd do a survey, and then started to build the same day.

Now they're ghosting us. I dont want to escalate. Thought about sending a recommended letter with my land survey (save them the thousands of dollars) and asking politely to remediate by September.

Then September first, get lawyered up.
