Welp, coming back to this 2 years later to say that as of now I am in law school lmao

An accurate review of what happened and a report to consumer protection, as well as threatening to dispute with my bank got me my money back. Don't take anything lying down from scammers and always document EVERYTHING.

I'm done arguing with you as you don't have the capacity to take any conversation seriously and instead indulge in sarcasm and try to twist my words to make a strawman. Really, I don't see a point arguing with you if you're not arguing with me, but with the fictional cartoonish person you're imagining in your head.

I don't know, privileges like higher pay, societal leniency for his every wrongdoing including crimes, minimal to zero pressure to conform to impossible standards and still be oppressed whether he does or doesn't, zero objectification and being reduced to his body, more opportunities in every field, better medical treatment. The list goes on but even if it was limited to just these, being called trash in an online post is a pretty sweet deal for all of these.

The "empty and useless gender war" is a utopian argument that seeks to claim a ficticious moral high ground; women lashing out against men after centuries of oppression and calling them out for, and I repeat, raping, killing, assaulting and otherwise abusing them en masse simply because they are women is not perpetuating anything. Men are the aggressors. They perpetuate this situation. When misogyny disappears, so will this.

Okay not only is the overwhelming majority of the perpetrators of these crimes men, but women on average receive more jail time than men for the same crime. Try again.

Your argument is a red herring because only a tiny fraction of Muslims are terrorists and even then, terrorism is nowhere near as fatal or occurs as often or goes unpunished as often as other crimes. The hate against them stems from misinformation, religious extremism and prejudice and is not supported by tangible statistics.

And I never said that you personally have to be a better person, I simply said that you're mad at the wrong people. Direct your anger to the men who rape, murder and otherwise commit abuse, demand harsher sentencing for them, call out the men in your life if they mistreat women and maybe we'll get somewhere.

You're willfully choosing to ignore the difference in impact in favour of making a utopian statement to attain a ficticious moral high ground. Women actively avoiding men, or calling them names will never be as bad or severe as men killing, raping and otherwise oppressing women, it is actually a direct result of that for the most part.

Saying that both are bigotry is a red herring argument because it attempts to hide the fact that one is significantly worse than the other. Women don't kill, rape or assault men simply because they're men and get away with it. When women commit those crimes against men, it is an actual statistical rarity and they are severely punished for them. Men are afraid women will laugh at them and women are afraid men will kill them. OP isn't trying to excuse one kind of bigotry, they literally said that neither is good. But they aren't comparable in the slightest.

See, if you're so mad at getting lumped in with the men who rape and assault, take it up with them for giving all of you a bad name instead of whining to the women who have been traumatized by them or are forced to be on the lookout 24/7. In what way is misandry normalized? Do women rape and assault and kill men and get away with it? Do women harass and taunt them and then blame them for it? No, everytime a woman makes a factually accurate statement about men, she gets replies like this, where men just tell her about how they personally aren't criminals. Misandry is in no way comparable to misogyny, and stating something that is supported by facts is not misandry.
