I was. Be firm in your refusal if you don’t believe it to be worth it. I am not traveling to Mexico every year or that frequent enough to justify membership especially with the way the world is right now with rising costs.

If the person who pitched to you was nice enough, give them a good review in the end, but just remember that it’s a business pitch to get a subscriber to provide them with a steady cash flow each year.

I may go back again as they are continuing to develop the property, and curious to see the new additions. But I plan to see other parts of the world too. ✌️

I went. It was ok since the breakfast was on the other resort in Xcaret Mexico. So I ate. Heard the spiel. Refused. And then walked around the part of the resort that was a mystery to me for the rest of the day 😀

Yes. The one vegan restaurant is Cosexa, but their breakfast is really delicious and they have nice smoothies and tonics if you want a lighter start to the day. I had dinner there too and I’m not vegetarian but their kebab sandwich could’ve fooled me as a meat option.

I went to Arenal as my first restaurant and I honestly think I ate something that got me sick there. Might have been the octopus carpaccio or the steak, which was incredibly raw.

I would recommend encanta maybe on your last night if you can as it’s a really nice tasting menu. Sometimes there’s even a show just outside that you can watch as you dine.

If you do plan to pay for the nicer restaurants, then save those for last.

Kusmi Tea - St. Petersbourg. It’s got some caramel and berry flavors in it. I drink my tea black so this tea has a rich sweetness to its aroma that makes me feel like it’s dessert. This is a flavored earl grey

Also Kusmi has like 9 or so earl grey variants to try. They sell 6 of them altogether in an earl grey variety pack so you can try them all at once!

Can confirm. Bought a 50 year old le cru from a yard sale and the guy asked me if I knew what I was getting. Unfortunately, the enamel on the inside cracked and chipped so it’s just a decorative piece now or I can bake bread in it if there’s a some parchment on the bottom.
