Victims need to be treated in a way that makes it a lot easier to come forward.
I have a lot of friends who have been SA’d by a date, a friend, a family member - but the fear and sigma of going to Police is very real.
They suffer in silence.

I think there needs to be very specific and sensitive support for victims. It’s not easy.
