Scott is the one who said he just assumes people who comment bad stuff on videos are "bots" He didn't say everyone is bots. In the context they were talking about how they handle the negativity and he said he just assumes its bots. So the whole thing has been blown out of proportion because rather than assuming your fans are being shitty to you he seems to want to believe the bad things are from people who aren't even fans. That's how I took it after watching the whole live stream where the bot comment came from. Of course this subreddit can't be normal about anything and has to shit on the guys anyway possible which IS ironically bot behavior

I actually read Cold Days first because I found it on sale at Dollar General. lol I wouldn't necessarily recommend starting that late, but it did get me hooked since it was an absolutely epic book. I didn't know the back story for a lot of stuff, but it still was a great read. I've reread the series 4 or 5 times at least and while I enjoy the first couple it definitely gets better the farther you go.

I haven't finished the Liveship trilogy, or Rain Wilds but the Farseer books just get better and better. I skipped all the books outside of Farseer on my first couple of reads because I was so engrossed but I definitely plan on going back to those as well

Id say it comes from the writing since not all of us listen exclusively to the audiobooks. The newest book was the only one I've listened to and I still could see the angle before hand. Jeff does add another dimension though
