Wow, this was so incredibly rude.

This is an excellent way to reframe this situation.

I was just recalling one of my favorite lines of Slaughterhouse Five from Vonnegut, “And Lot's wife, of course, was told not to look back where all those people and their homes had been. But she did look back, and I love her for that, because it was so human. So she was turned into a pillar of salt. So it goes.”
I think it’s a beautiful take on the human condition.

It’s just a serum so I use it by itself! That’s part of the appeal to me is that I don’t have to use anything else with it :)

I have oily/combo skin and have been loving Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Soothing Serum Skin Tint. It blends seamlessly into my skin, gives subtle coverage, and looks/feels like I don’t have anything on.

32F and seen it through twice since I was 29. I think the vast age ranges from those watching is a testament to the quality of the show and the Villanuevas personalities. There’s a character or situation we can all relate to 🩷

Absolutely. Doctors should offer regardless but if they don’t, please ask! My first IUD at 19 had me sobbing in pain and hunched over walking to my ride after. My second IUD at 24 I asked for a cervical block and it was nearly painless.

Unsure of the timing for you but it could be implantation spotting. Definitely check with your doc though!

So well put! Forget political science. Clearly film critic is your calling.

I know you said dinner but last year we were snowed in and did a spread of breakfast foods (chopped fruit, egg/sausage casserole, Dutch baby pancake). It was a hit!

Sending you some love from a stranger. I’m also a STM pregnant in the first trimester and really struggling with nausea and fatigue. I’ve also had a month long sinus infection and feel as though I’m running at 20% capacity at any given moment. With all of that going on, queue the prenatal depression.
It’s hard. This is SO hard. It feels relentless. I just have to keep reminding myself that this isn’t forever. It WILL end. Not today, not tomorrow, but eventually.
I know I can’t say anything that will ease your pain or struggles, but know that this internet stranger feels for you and is in a similar situation, struggling through it too. There’s strength in knowing you’re not alone. Please try to give yourself some grace. You’re doing the best you can with what you’ve got and it’s enough!

Thank you!

Otherwise it just looks like I have rolls haha.

I have been trying to make my 8 week belly look more like a bump because this bloating is nuts. It’s my second baby so luckily (I guess?) it already had that shape haha. I’d rather look newly pregnant than like I just gained a bunch of weight quickly. I found that wearing “over the bump” pants or even somewhat form-fitting tanks helps to create a smoother bump shape!

First, what a beautiful snake! Second, this post gave me a great chuckle with the Reddit glitch

I promise your healthcare staff have likely seen it all and will be completely unphased by ingrown hairs! Congratulations and enjoy your scan :)

Not to use derogatory language but the name Tatum just sounds like “Taint” and “Scrotum” combined to me.

This is what we did as well! I started by using Sposies inserts in the overnight pull ups but found we didn’t even need the inserts anymore. I think the side attachments don’t press on the bladder as much as the overnight regular diapers do.

This looks right, thank you!!

This is what I was considering when I posted this so it’s reassuring to see it recommended. Thanks!

I don’t have advice but am offering solidarity. Perimenopause has made everything harder. Everything.
I have a wonderful husband as well but I recognize that as a non-menopausal person (there’s gotta be a better term for this) he can’t fully empathize with this hormonal rollercoaster I’m on.
Sending kindness your way.
