A few suggestions: 1. Older motherboards used to require the front audio connector as it would bridge the connection to the back when the front plugs were not used. Check the manual, you may have to bridge the pins with jumpers. 2. With AMR slots, make sure the jumpers are set to use the correct codec (motherboard vs AMR card) chip. 3. Check that you have enabled audio in bios and do not have IRQ conflicts

Well, old google led me to here when my wife's Nxtpaper 11 gen2 updated yesterday while she was at work and mine would not in the US after multiple tries. After reading this, set the old VPN to France, and voila! update currently downloading. Looks like something may be blocked by IP, location, router, or magic. Cheers if it helps!

Good afternoon. I sent a PM checking to see if the custom firmware is still available. Thanks in advance!

It definitely sucks, but I'm pretty sure that most CPU exclusions are because of Spectre and/or Meltdown vulnerabilities.

Looking forward to your results. I did not have success. https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/89s8bs/dell_inspiron_13_7375_2in1_r5_2500u_8gb_256gb/?utm_source=reddit-android

No success. Attempted SATA Express, adding PCIe changes (Auto, Std, etc. Not detecting the NVMe. This drive works fine in my ASUS laptop.
I then left the SATA Express setting on, and it detected the original Micron SATA only drive. It doesn't appear that the setting changes anything.
The laptop came with BIOS 1.03, so updated to 1.2, still no success.

I'm on the road for the next few days so probably won't have an attempt until the weekend. MX300 only SATA3 so not expecting anything great when it arrives, but I did get a good price on it.

FYI, I purchased the 2700u version a few days ago. I tried a Samsung 960 EVO 500 NVMe M.2 SSD and it would not recognize in BIOS or from the Windows recovery USB drive. I tried to disable the secure boot settings but still no go. :( I have a Crucial MX300 525GB on order...

Your motherboard appears to have a nonstandard pinout. Caution if you try jumpers
