Not OP but saw this. I have one and my two cents is “it depends”

For me I sit up straight and so my head never touches the headrest. But when I recline to think or relax I love having it. Plan to keep the chair a long time so for me an easy $200. If you don’t recline a lot I’d say 50/50

As someone else said finding “the one” involves playing both but for me personally I have grown to love my Adi top. I have a special that was only recently dethroned by a custom but until then it had stood out as the mix between the stiffer top and rosewood just had this amazing mix. It honestly sounded amazing fingerpicked and strummed but as others said took a minute to really open up.

My one caution “opening up” can be tricky. Yes. Over time wood can change dramatically but sometimes a dud is a dud. I found a 18 Adi top special and per specs it should have had amazing headroom bought it had it shipped, let it sit, took it out swapped strings and…and it was the WORST MartinGuiter I had ever played. It was flat, quiet, and overall just a waste. I say that to say there can be bad Adi tops too but I’ve only had one bad the others became my favorite guitars.

Ok so this is gonna sound crazy but try it. Our friend recommended a song by Imogen Heap called “the happy song”. First three loops they were fussing, 4-5 cooong and then out. Ever since when they get fussy we try playing it. And it’s word it works so well. Good luck!!

Oh hey! Another one of us! Mine has since been organized but didn’t have a recent photo

I spent $1.7k on a chair I wasn’t used to with a return option. It was a shift from cushioned chairs and lazy boys I had used.

Two years later still rocking an Embody and loving it. It takes a while to get dialed in but my back pain has gone down I sit comfortably 8-10 hours a day at a remote job. I’d make that decision again. Well maybe not on non-black Friday prices they have gone nutso crazy.

I can imagine. Don’t look at freak athletes new ones ;)
