That's not true. You made that up. They pay rent, utilities, and groceries.

Oh no! I believe you got that text, it's the second one I have seen posted in r/Ohio! I mean, they're (Republicans) unbelievable, thinking these texts will work on people. It's every bit as transparent as their fear mongering flyers.

This is the first one I saw... https://www.reddit.com/r/Ohio/s/TzRmSK8Um9

I just want people to know that my Republican roommate voted ALL BLUE today!! So I definitely do not believe these texts people are getting...

Witty_Commentator

I still only have a link icon. 🫤

They're wearing them out. They're scaring the hell out of them, keeping them running. The pigs will eventually drop in exhaustion and then the people will step in and kill them.

Witty_Commentator

I'd either glue patch pieces on it, or try to scrape off the rest of the pleather. Then maybe paint it with a flexible fabric paint.

Witty_Commentator

And a burnt orange macramé owl?

Witty_Commentator

These, and Julie of the Wolves!

Witty_Commentator

"Fuzzy wuzzy was a bear??"

Also, police and fire stations often participate.

Witty_Commentator

Looks like apology, submission, and a little begging to me. "I am small, I am not trying to fight you, I will back away on my belly..."

Witty_Commentator

Four Seasons Landscaping, anyone? 😂

Witty_Commentator

Seriously, it's a case of hear the title and assume "it's all good..." 🙄

A lot, I would think! I don't know if that pot has drain holes, but if so, I'd soak it in a tub of water for a day.

I found a pregnant onion plant in my aunt's basement that hadn't been watered in over a year. Poor thing was all shriveled up, but still alive! I just put the whole pot in a big bowl and soaked it overnight. By morning, it had absorbed all the water, so I gave it half a bowlful again. I waited a few more hours, then just took it out, and let it drain. After that, I treated it like any of my other plants.

Witty_Commentator

For most of us, that's a houseplant. I think it's only hardy in zones 10 and 11.

Witty_Commentator

Oh! "Don't provide me with the means to do it, do it for me"...? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Wtf.

Witty_Commentator

What does that mean? "I don't like when you just hand me things." Is she supposed to perform some fancy presentation? What does that mean?

We quit using our self checkout a few years ago, but if I remember correctly, you should be able to do it. (Although you might need an employee to key in the amount.)

Witty_Commentator

Well, it's complicated. Some cards, you, the customer, can swipe your card, and it will just use whatever it can, and the register says something like, "$10 requested, $9 authorized, remaining balance $1."

Other cards, the register will ask you, the customer, to "Confirm the amount," and you have to push no, then have the cashier key in the amount.

The computer programs for EBT/SNAP in Ohio is written both ways. Sometimes it will take what it can, other times it just refuses the sale if there's not enough on the card. Then, I, the cashier, have to key in the amount available on the card. (I think it depends on what year they got their card, but I don't know for certain.)

Witty_Commentator

Do you know exactly how much is on each card? A cashier should be able to punch in how much you're using from each one, as long as you tell them.

I can take as many gift card (or prepaid credit card) payments as I need to, as long as I have a number. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Witty_Commentator

She tried to wedge herself into their conversation!

Also JD Vance:

We are allowed to lie to get the media's attention...

Such a piece of shit..

Witty_Commentator

Yes! OP, watch what you want to watch. If this woman comes back, explain to her that your TV isn't really visible unless they're purposely looking in. And that's something she needs to fix with her child.

Witty_Commentator

Yeah, he started out strong, but he backpedaled as soon as there was an uproar.
