I've been looking at the Galachos the whole train ride, that looks like a nice place! It's a bit of a walk, but probably worth it.

Yeah, I'm most concerned about the heat. I'll bring loads of water, and hopefully I can find some shade there (even though I'm specifically looking for an area without obstructions...)
