I said they were justified in their violence: freedom is a righteous cause. Their misstep is they did not realize that they would win no support by maintaining their "white devil" rhetoric for all time, without end. 

The world changed around them, and they failed to adapt, simple as that.  They continue even today to blame everyone else for the misfortune they cause themselves. The world owes Haiti nothing, so they get nothing. 

Haiti must find it's own way: stop having so many children in poverty, stop stealing from each other. Stand up for one another. 

There is no white devil at play, this problem is one of Haiti's own creation. The world does not owe Haiti anything.

Violence begets violence. The Haitian revolution was vengeful, with extreme acts of rape and murder of whites by their former slaves. This was, of course, retribution for years of equivalently bad treatment by their masters, and while not unjustified, it did nothing to win them the hearts and minds of potential allies. 

To be clear, I am not saying that Haitians werennot justified in anything they did while rebelling. I know it would be hard for me to do otherwise in their place. 

What I am saying is that it was a strategic miscalculation to never consider forming alliances with anyone that wasn't black. 

You need not take my word for it: merely look at how the Dominican Republic is doing versus Haiti: Haitians cursed themselves due to their own malice.

Anglos have a unity of purpose that Africans lack. Even when Anglos fight, there is an understanding that one will not enslave the other nation. However, there was still limited slavery between UK and America of white people, in the form of Naval Press gangs. 

Americans went to war again with the UK in 1812 over impressment, among other reasons.

African people have the distinct and unfortunate priveledge of having no unity whatsoever. You are cursed because you naturally stand divided. 

It is a matter of historical fact that African nations sold their enemies, and sometimes even their own people, into slavery. The largest source of slaves were the Africans themselves, with West Central Africa being the greatest. 

This is the source of your woes. Even Ameroca relied on French support when they rebelled. There were no such friends for Haiti, Haiti did not help themselves in the way they revolted either. 

It is both the darkness of human nature during the Haitian rebellion, and the lack of support afterwards, which led to the cycle of bitterness and punishment you now face. Haitians sought freedom without thinking of the common good for each other. 

A house standing divided against itself can not stand, and so we see now the fall of Haiti today.

Haven't logged in for many years, and I don't remember when exactly I jumped on board, but we just had hangars and the Vanduul swarm mode.

I remember putting in for Vanguard sentinel on hopes we were getting close. It was around that time that the first naysayers were claiming this is a scam. I was in denial, for you see I was sold on hope. I played a little of the PU and entered olisar, and saw more progress (read promise).

Grab a rifle and go running in a field with a forest on the other end. Preferably far away from people and somewhere it's legal for you to shoot.

While running, try aiming at a tree. Seriously. Just aim. Don't even try shooting. You can't stay painted on shit while on the move. Remember that the further you are from a target, the easier it is to shoot wide of it with microscopic changes in aim.

Now, after running for a time, stop, and try aiming again. You go from massive swings to a tighter, but still sloppy figure 8 at best. Keep in mind, the moment you stopped to aim you became a sitting duck for anyone behind cover, and now your heartbeat is swinging your aim everywhere.

Charging soldiers are worse than stormtroopers and it is equal parts luck and experience on knowing when to pull the trigger to actually hit anything.
