I came home one night and there was an intruder in my home when I walked in. House was empty when he broke in and just unlucky for him (and me) I entered while he was there. He had a knife and was worried I would respond. I can promise you that when he attacked me I could not have outrun him. So yeah, run away is a smart idea but sometimes you can’t. Turns out all the NPCs are self-aware conscious beings. During weeks where they will be put through the ringer the Developers are nice enough to give them an extended downtime of 7 hours. This allows them to leave their set positions and mingle with each other in ways the play base doesn’t get to view. Many of them head to GM island in this downtime and participate in a much more NSFW party themed around the Darkmoon Faire
