Unless the string snaps

It is nice to see that it is no longer as much of a social taboo to deal with this. However, night terrors attached with depression is something I wish we hit more on. I am sure many of us deal with certain levels, but at the same time some of us have what I call "cake" depression, or what my psychologist calls "the rabbit hole". Levels 1-3 are normal, situational sometimes causes 4-6, and then when life goes just wrong our 7-10 happens. Which gives us night terrors, scared to go in public, anxiety attacks, psychosis, and suicidal ideation.

Apparently during a night terror I was strangling myself and talking (while answering in a different voice) to myself. I told my significant other to never touch me during my "episodes", due to past experiences of waking up and attacking whoever touched me.

You are the only person thar cares about your problems.

YUT3521

Made my day

YUT3521

Too cute

YUT3521

Know why inmates get their last name inked on their back? So the guy who is fucking them knows exactly who it is.

YUT3521

You are 13. Stay the course, cause you have so many more years of being awkwardly lonely. It gets worse.

YUT3521

Because your problems only matter to you.

YUT3521

That's actually really fuckin cool

YUT3521

A half pibble is 50% square-headed-butt-wiggler, which in my book is 100% adorable. That expression tho! What a lovely picture, thank you for sharing

YUT3521

Don't try to act "cool" or "mysterious". Be yourself man, be a goof, be loose and relaxed. Just have fun

YUT3521

Mustard with my fries

YUT3521

Its the same line as mustard. Just a different kind of kick. Ill have to try it, it sounds good

Show, shout, shove, shoot. That was what we were told. We had a guy standing 400 yards from the first checkpoint entrance into the FOB spraying some kind of weapon us. Probably an AK. Homeboy was just lettin them rip, and all we could do was sit and laugh. Shot a couple pen flares at him, called him a few names, but in the end nobody was able to get at him. I can guarantee that fucker was sitting outside his mud hut when we rolled through with ripits. Another time we went for a run, my first MOS was 3521 mech, so I was stuck in the bump truck. We get out maybe 300 feet and a weird systematic clinking noise goes off. Little fucking dirt kickers are stealing our tow chain out of the 7tons steps, and I swear the same little bastards were begging for bottles of water that afternoon when we got back. Everyone is considered hostile, but not everyone holds a rifle. Some bury IED's, some spot, some shoot. Everyone hates us, with good reason

YUT3521

Well said

YUT3521

Really? I guess I need to brush up on history, that is both interesting and informative. So was Dachu before Auschwitz? And I knew there was a certain order given to start wiping out the polish/jewish forced laborers after a certain poiny (at least I think that is correct) but I never knew they started as internment camps.

YUT3521

Not a whole lot. What I was saying was that I get that some people are uncomfortable with the situation

YUT3521

Like the guy above me said, terrorism is scary. It's a group to be upset with. We had British, ourselves, Germans/Japanese then Koreans, and for the past 20 years it has been the Muslims. Just the way we work I feel, our war industry has to target someone

YUT3521

Funny. The small amount of Marines don't really do former. However, some of us do former because I will always be a Marine. I earned the fucking title and I earned the fucking right to say if I am former or not.

YUT3521

Good point, and well noted
