Bro pretends he’s all that but gets rage baited by some red smoke anyways.

I’d be cool with them taking longer for the next DLC to clean up some bugs and add some polish to the game, but alas that doesn’t make them as much money so the publisher overlords won’t let that happen.

What comic series am I reading right now? Surely this isn’t the real Andrew actually strategizing how to beat a Gym leader with legitimate Pokémon tactics??? Unless….actual character development?!

Nah, surely this will be resolved with Lopuny shower somehow

Leda was my first and it was a pretty easy time tbh (playing on Hard). Like others said, Olympia hits like a truck, Sirocco is a very tanky and powerful magic user, Buccar is very strong and stays relevant throughout, and Mu is the classic exp dump into godlike-whatever-you-want kind of unit end game. And even though Leda does really good as a support (dancing and her Blaze arts are powerful) she still has lord stats and can still very much one shot and avoid pretty much everything. Her team is so well balanced you could probably do a 5 member run on her Part 1.

ZFFM

StS1 you can greed pick Feel No Pain and usually make it work well. This is looking a little tough for Slime Boss though, I’d probably still pick it, rest, and hope for the best.

For the inner planets, you can just use laser turrets and solar panels if you want a space port over those. Makes it a very simple and easy build. Slap one engine and a couple manual fed turrets and you can build it in Nauvis and slowly get it to its destination. Really improved space logistics on my friends’ 2.1 save.

Should be its own badge for fun.

He’s pretty rough, you have to be able to kill quickly and make sure you walk in with enough health to tank the 18 damage turn or have a reliable way to deal with it.
With that said, like others mentioned, unless your deck is slow and skills only, it’s not so bad and probably still an easier fight than Decimillipede.
Worth mentioning though that since his rework Act 2 elites are a little rough because one punishes you for Attacks, another for Skills, and Deci just kinda punishes you for existing, so it’s a pretty big dice roll whether you have an easy or hard time with the elites.

Zoro kind of had a small flashback in Wano if I recall where it was revealed he knew a legendary sword smith in his village. Doesn’t add too much to Zoro’s actual character, more of a world building flashback, but I think that’s as far as Oda will take Zoro in terms of backstory.

If you let Dark Orbs cook for even 1 turn and evoke they deal more damage than lightning 1 turn plus evoke, and it’s targeted plus concentrated damage which is generally better. So fast evoking dark is not so bad as long as you plan out your turn and don’t immediately evoke. Then, if you happen to be able to Dual/Quadcast it, even better.

Smh, game developers just don’t focus on what’s truly important anymore.

Ironclad - Huge Block (Bonus points if pulled off without Barricade).

Silent - “When you play a card deck” with Serpent Form and After Image, feels great to be rewarded for spamming a bunch of stuff after you get set up.

Regent - Card Creation, my favorite archetype among all characters, colorless cards are a ton of fun this game.

Necrobinder - Highlander? I think Necro is most fun when you cross over her archetypes, like Reaper Form bridging big attack and doom, or Devour Soul with souls and big Osty. It’s a ton of fun having a deck with a lot of variety and high value cards in the end.

Defect - The classic Power Slop is still a ton of fun, especially now with stuff like Subroutine, Game Piece, and Thunder to go with Storms.

With Zero Mission and Returns bringing 1 and 2 up to speed, every 2D game in the main series is just fantastic. One game has to end up being the least ‘favorite’ but you’d have a very hard time finding someone trying to claim Fusion is a bad game.
I’m sure Ravenous will continue the streak too, 2D Metroid is just extremely solid.

Ah yes, the dark side of the lending ages. I had cousins that were notorious for this, would lend them games that they would pass around with their friends, and I wouldn’t see it for many months if ever. That if ever time was the last time though, I learned my lesson.

ZFFM

A randomizer mode would probably triple my hours in the game, that would be a dream if it happened.

ZFFM

Risk of Rain 2. Extremely good soundtrack, it’s like its own rock genre.

ZFFM

I played it on PC on launch, and as a big Monster Hunter fan, I would absolutely wait and see. The game is great, maybe the best base Monster Hunter game, but the performance was so awful at launch it was very difficult to enjoy. It’s best to wait and see if they learned their lesson with this port’s performance before diving in.

Honestly, for this one I would say it depends on map layout. Like people are saying, High Five has fantastic immediate output and is really good against the Kin here. Can let you take a greedy path in Act 1. However, that’s IF there is a greedy path available. If from here the map layout doesn’t have any viable paths with 3+ elite and fires along the way then it might be a decent No Escape pick for long term value. Upgraded, it by itself applies 35 doom which is not bad at all, but with any other doom source it gets really bonkers really quick, and will solve a lot of mid game elites and end game bosses.

So yeah, if High Five allows you to take a greedy path, go for it, but if the path is low value then I would say No Escape might be a decent long term pick.

Calling it Metroid Dread is probably one of the coolest things Nintendo has done. At that point development definitely completely restarted maybe even multiple times so it makes sense to scrap the title and go with something new, but they kept it and even themed the game around it. The reaction videos from Dread’s reveal speak for themselves, you can immediately tell who were the long time Metroid fans.

ZFFM

Would still win as long as you can tank the invulnerable turn, you should be able to one shot every phase with this many burns.

ZFFM

Makes sense, I think they’re the only Nintendo characters that have canonically met each other (on Kirby’s end at least).

ZFFM

A good one soon will be Breath of the Wild which is turning a decade old in just half a year.

ZFFM

Star Fox Command infamously had lots of endings of varying degrees of ridiculousness. There’s one where Fox gets depressed and retires as an F-Zero pilot.

ZFFM

You don’t get the power option again, but it does count as another “charge” of the relic, so basically you go from seeing one extra power every other fight to one every fight. I did think it might work the way you’re describing as well, not sure if that changed at some point or we’re just getting Mandella’d!

It does clash with the relic description though, as it does say “every other combat” as opposed to “every other card reward”, I might F2 that next time.

Turned out to be a pretty strong Defect run, despite Tanx's best efforts to ruin it with very mediocre offerings. TIL Lasting Candy and Drifwood does indeed work the way you want it to (though the text on Lasting Candy does not reflect that), so by the end I was able to make a very strong power spam deck. Lots of healing on this one, Book of Five Rings was huge support that let me keep taking on many elites and fights to feed the power spam.
