I've had bunch of pretty rare things on my trade list, such as shiny BG legendaries for example, so even tho I have a few extra and the person I'm trading with doesn't have anything I'm even remotely interested in (pun intended), I'm not going to just trade those away for whatever (I've already been pretty generous a few times...).

Sure you can suggest whatever, as the value is often subjective, but don't expect people to accept whatever just because they have certain Pokemon listed for trade. But of course, I do agree, it is not good practice to just let the other person wait for the trade to expire. People will have different opinions on how this should work and some people will be more generous than others.

Not even close. I did 320 raids and had to spend the energy multiple times due to capping at 50k. I ended up with 5 mega level 4 Mewtwos and 50k/50k energy.

Why not just delete the non-super mega leveled one?

I would be at around 1800 rare XL's hadn't I used any, but last year I started using them. Maxed two Keldeons, shiny Diancie and still have plenty to max shiny Zygarde and probably the Zeraora and more.

He already has this Pokemon, for pretty much all purposes except for dex it already counts as a shundo technically. Every day it's just one press of a button away from being a shundo, but you press the button, there's no going back.

For me, I despise purified Pokemon above all, so I'm not purifying any Pokemon even if it would make it a shundo. Purified Pokemons are absolute trash for me and I can't even stand having one, so a major anti-flex for me and shadow looks much cooler anyway and is technically also rarer. This can become a shundo whenever, shundo can't become this.

Bear in mind that you need 12 Megas to break the shield, and each lobby has a maximum number of 10 remote raiders. 1 host plus 10 remote raiders is still one mega short of breaking the shield, so at the very least this is not going to be obvious how well it will work.

Yes, I know the new adventure effect on Mewtwo can make it so that you break two shields instead of one, but afaik it is not clear if we'll have this active by then.

Bringing a few people with you as well when hosting could help with the issue at the very least.

Also, I know it's possible to best the raids without breaking the shield but I don't know how achievable that is with 10 randoms in a raid of Mega Mewtwo caliber. We'll know more things for certain as the event progresses, but if it is physically possible to host them, I'm sure PokeGenie wants to be part of that as well.

For me it's the other way around, I'm not going to waste my precious openings on them but Idc if I send them as I try to have zero friends on my list that don't have a gift from me.

I understand the reasoning why people expect Zekrom to come after Reshiram, and eventually it surely will, but is there something else I've missed as a lot of people seen to assume that it will be coming right after? It wouldn't be the first time we don't have fully consistent shadow legendary releases.

I think couple times now with the latest rocket events where the rewards were tied to a game pass, purchasing the premium path allowed to get a second rocket radar. Should be the same now with the upcoming rocket event.

Well I've purchased all the available ones and mostly stacked/saved up for multiple shadow events now.

Shadow Ray likely won't have that big of an impact anyway. You don't need to use all the radars (in case you have many). I have 8 (+ 1 or 2 new ones) and I likely will use a few until I get a good enough one that I want to take to level 50 immediately.

This is worth it.

Shadow Ray is not even guaranteed to be that good. We don't know if it can even learn Dragon Ascent which would be tragic of course, but also as Dragon it's not going to be a big upgrade over the army of dragon type attackers we have now.

I turn on the audio for GBL when I'm tryharding but other than that, it's pretty much always off.

There was a common misconception some time back, which in hindsight just seems like cope, that a too polished edge wouldn't cut a tomato skin as well as a slightly toothier edge. I'm pretty sure this is now widely debunked and an actually sharp, properly deburred edge has no issues with tomato skin whatsoever.

So yeah, they did not do a good job with this, refund would be appropriate if you feel like it.

There are much more Staryus and Krabbys though. Looking at the stats, it is 100% undeniable that Larvitar and Lapras are shiny boosted to 1/128 whereas the rest are not.

3. Wait until the first day of the league and realize that Smeargle is banned after all

Double in size and peak can be two very different things. Mine grows more than 4x in volume at its peak. But yes, I'm not sure why that is surprising that it's basically the same thing? It's just a matter of definitions.

It works well outside of these events, it does not work for something like this simply because there are no hosts. People who travel there constantly have 20 people in the lobbies, it would be extremely inconvenient to even try to keep up with the hosting and friend requests and invites. There's enough people with the Raid Master Pass on a regular day to fill all of these lobbies, during an event like this it's going to be even worse.

PokeGenie does not rely on bots to provide lobbies unlike some other services, so yeah, not possible. A different question is if they should put out like a warning or something that there are extremely few lobbies and purchasing even the Master pass does not guarantee a constant flow of raids.

This is usually the case. I wouldn't mind being able to join this "second lobby" remotely, but unfortunately you can't.

Similar thing has happened to me a few times now, I just decline the trade and hope they realize that their request is not very rralistic..

90% of the forever friends I've reached til now have not had anything I'm even remotely interested in. Guess that's my bad for overestimating what people have and what they're willing to trade.

I did a couple very generous trades already just out of kindness but yeah, then also including the ppl who haven't put anything up for trade, this feature really hasn't been as good to me as I was hoping. Wish I could have seen earlier what I'm dealing with lol

Oh and just to add, I've also been pleasantly surprised couple times that people actually asked for something relatively close in "value" to what they had instead of asking for something crazy for their shiny Starly.
