My inexpert thoughts are as follows.

The third unit of Wulfen is probably overkill and some fire support back field objective holders or horde killers would serve you better.

As far as I know the Wolf Priest cant take vanguard warlord traits (only Vanguard units can)

The Armor of Russ would be better utilized on the rune priest if you want him anywhere near combat as it gives him a 4++ instead of nothing.

I think this is an interesting possibility.

I love that arm.

I've been playing around with the idea of splashing in some Dark Angels, for that strat and mind wipe.

My recommendation is a stalker pack Brigade with:

HQ

Wolf Guard Battle Leader Smasher (TH/SS, Jump) with Field Commander saga of the savage and the Armor of Russ.

Wolf Guard Battle Leader Smasher (TH/SS, Jump) with the wolfen stone.

and/or

Wolf Priest (Jump).

TROOPS

3X Blood Claw Packs each with 5 blood claws, the Pack Leader with Power Fist, and a Terminator Pack Leader (With TH/SS).

I like that 1968 Batman flies a thinly disguised F-101 Voodoo.

These guys have some really versatile stuff that's not horrifically expensive. You could customize up some guys in Winter Greatcoats and bearskin hats, or whatever. I used them to make some Valhallan type guys with Greatcoats and Ushanka hats and gasmasks.

I've been experimenting with blood claws in transports with a power fist and a thunder hammer. Might go double power first to shave points. Properly escorted with the new formation you'd have 10 power fist attacks hitting on 3s re-rolling ones on attack and wound. I think there might be something there, but it's pretty marginal.

This is my parent's dog's favorite thing in the whole world. It's kinda hard to get pictures of her because whenever phones come out she starts looking for the reflection.

Are they really saying that tactical marines are fine where their at? Never mind that when so many things drop in cost but one thing stays the same that's kinda like getting a cost increase.

I play mostly Space Wolves and both Grey Hunters and Blood Claws are both way better than tactical marines, but they are not good.

Also weapons going down in cost do not help the power armored marine, it actually hurts them because other units can take better advantage of that cost drop, and more special weapons means more stuff with AP is out there to make that power armor were paying so much for just that much more useless.

I've mathhammered on this pretty hard and the math is telling me if a guardsman is 5 points a power armored marine should be 9. I think that's probably wrong but even so I don't want to see my marines "fixed" with a points drop, I'd like to see them feel like badasses. I'd like to not be picking them up off the table the second I put them down.

I've used automatic pencil lead for this in the past. Here are some I did for some Necromunda dudes. Your's are nicer.

Yeah it's all free hand, I don't like how decals and such look when the rest of the model is hand painted. The decals end up looking too crisp. But yeah, I kinda view doing stuff freehand as showing off. I think with good technique just about anyone can paint a decent model, but free hand stuff not everyone can do, and when I do it I feel like I'm just being fancy.
