Chybbyemu on YouTube, a doctor who reviews medical cases and sicknesses for education, did a good video on the dangers of fungi and it's resistance to anti fungals.  

Summary by a layman:   Basically fungi are literally everywhere, spreading through the atmosphere, we breathe in spores all the time. Our immune system has multiple methods of destroying them and is constantly adapting as the fungi adapt as well, so In general we're fine. 

But strains that are resistant to anti fungals, super dangerous. And the same types of compounds we use for medicine are also used in agriculture, which means higher chance of strains emerging which are resistant to the drug it if you get infected.  

Theres also only a few which can work if you get a fungal brain infection, and if they become resistant to that we're pretty boned.   And as they spread by jetstreams across continents, we could end up with a global pandemic of fungal infections we cant fight.

The problem with solar is space requirements.  

Panels will never be more than, say, 30-40% efficient at the ABSOLUTE best. Best possible. So maybe you get 300w/sq.m  

So you need approx 3 million sq.m of solar for a 1GW nuclear plant. Which is 333 square kilometres of solar panels (or approximately 630 football fields for the Americans).   Then there's all the infrastructure to go along with it, all of the mounting and wiring and inverters. Maintenance, cleaning. Preventing animals damaging it (eg rodents, birds).   It's a lot of area.  

Vs a single nuclear plant.  

Solar is great, it can be deployed quickly and in areas that need more power.  but it's not fixing the world's energy needs because we would cover the planet to provide our power.  

There is no single technology we need, we need all of them (other than coal and gas).

We genuinely need some media forensics for this to confirm. If we knew what camera it was taken with it would help immensely. Figure out the digitised noise and if it's been generated or not perhaps. Some programs may leave a fingerprint if they intentionally make something look pixelated.   Compare the artifacts on the people with other objects like the cart to see if it's similar maybe.  Look for any obvious smoothing or zones indicating editing. But that's pretty basic level stuff.

What's made in the USA anymore?  

I know a really high quality bbq scrubber, and that's about it.  And it was extremely hard for them to actually make it in the USA because there are so many gaps in America's manufacturing these days it's nearly impossible without outsourcing a large amount of it overseas.  

There's a massive gap in America's skill base and capacity  for manufacturing and when all the old heads retire or die within the next 10-15 years they're going to be super screwed because there's no one to pass on the knowledge.  

How many progressive die shops are in USA? How many injection moulding?    How much do they charge vs china?  

China and India are eating America's manufacturing by massively undercutting them and Americans gladly put their own countrymen out of business . And then once you guys are well and truly done they'll crank up prices and you'll have no choice but to pay.  

Americans need to start putting their money where their mouth is, instead of cheap crap from Amazon which is DEFINITELY not USA made.
