I think this is true in the sense that "they should be able"; doesn't mean all of them will: case in point DHH

Let's flood their sub with suggestion to try out "job finding tea" and adjacent websites

I'm glad I moved my repositories off GitHub :)

I hope he'll soon be in jail

There's probably many more, but these are the ones I can think of right now: - With Linux you actually feel the freedom of tech and internet - I can customize my system however the fuck I want - Windows is shit, MacOS is expensive for no reason (and locks you in even more than Michaelsoft Binbows) - As a software developer, it makes everything much better to manage (think package managers just as the tip of the iceberg) - Tinkering and breaking things means I could learn something new every single day

(Not the reason I initially switched, but one more is I get to choose to avoid having "AI" slopware shoved down my throat)

Yes.

I mean, it makes sense that a pedophile and warmongers not really caring about small things such as laws would work together to enshittify the world politics for their own benefit

I'd argue "advanced science" is also bullshit. Some could even say "built architectural masterpieces" is not their merit

It's very absurd that socials don't even want you to express disdain anymore and they just don't give you negative reactions options. I don't even know if this guy is serious and just an idiot or has straight out brain damage

Che merda, Aaron Swartz si sta rivoltando nella tomba

I'd argue Linux is just as viable for most people at this point. Yes, it doesn't support absolutely all games, and sometimes you need to tinker a bit (and it may be tedious if you're not very technical or usually messing around on your distro), but ProtonDB is also incredibly useful. So it really is just as fun for gaming, on some accounts even better and easier for some things.

I just don't use windows. Win-win

Show me the wall

I once purged some python version from a kubuntu installation, when I was very much less knowledgeable about Linux and distros. Needless to say almost everything broke on the user facing interface side of things, and I just reinstalled lol

I'm not very knowledgeable abour law, but wouldn't the EU GDPR require they delete absolutely ALL your data if you request that? (obviously for EU based people's accounts)

_damax

Bullshit

_damax

Whoever said this doesn't really know what an OS is

_damax

Dunno if it can count as board game, but Riichi Mahjong

Windows also is one of Windows biggest RAM offenders lol
