FWIW, this post was reported for being, "targeted harassment against me" so clearly someone doesn't like open discussion of the topic.

Your Dunning-Kruger game is AAA rated

a_cute_epic_axis

No, that's not correct.

a_cute_epic_axis

FYI, this person promotes their own "training" platform, which happens to be banned here.

a_cute_epic_axis

Easy to pass that quickly if you brain dump, and even more so if you try to "teach" people afterwards or sell your own brain dumps....

a_cute_epic_axis

Your brain cannot be saved nor damaged by wearing nor not wearing glasses or another vision correction device. Same with your eyesight, other than an issue with your eye being physically damaged from a contact/infection/etc. Failing to wear them doesn't accelerate vision changes (nor does wearing them), and wearing them doesn't make your physically dependent on them, although it probably makes life easier and makes you want to have corrected vision.

The vast majority of contacts do not change your eyes for better nor worse in terms of vision, and once removed things rather quickly revert to status quo. While it seems suspicious that a person would leave contacts in without noticing for 2.5 months, if you had no issue there's no reason to take them out for "a couple of weeks". Just switch to using them as prescribed.

Nope, it's 100% that the driver was a fucking ninny.

In IPv6, all LANs are /64s

That's not a rule, just something that is common.

a_cute_epic_axis

It's like subnetting IPv4, but it's IPv6.

a_cute_epic_axis

Ah, I see, you want better background checks so things like this are caught.

Nope, background checks are inherently flawed and unfixable. But stop releasing people who commit gun violence, that might be a start.

Which ones? Background checks don't keep you from buying certain firearms, it's all of them.

Right so you don't understand what this bill is?

I guess you're saying that firearms generally are actually the problem

Nope, firearms aren't a problem, generally or otherwise.

As well. People are looking elsewhere as well.

Nope, and certainly not in Colorado. I'm sure someone will try some stupid shit again next legislative session, maybe try to get on the cruciform ban bandwagon, but there's no serious push because it's politically unpopular and because nobody actually is trying to go after handguns, gang violence, or the like.

Doesn't matter anyway, all your methods ultimately would be ineffective at actually gathering up guns in any sizeable numbers. The toothpaste is out of the tube. CT's compliance with their bans was estimated at <10%, NYS <5%. Hell even Australia has stupidly poor compliance. Sure, you'll succeed in making life difficult for some law abiding people, probably end up needlessly sending some to jail in exchange for literally no safety benefit. But you'll never actually make a dent in getting firearms off the streets.

a_cute_epic_axis

It observed him too, if you know what we mean....

a_cute_epic_axis

i.e. when you made it seem like I was an idiot for not knowing there was a King Soopers shooter without context).

You said it! Not me!

Sounds like a failure to use red flag laws for their intended purpose, not a failure of a background check.

Lack of reading comprehension abounds in this thread, as usual. Yah, this guy and plenty of others had history that should have been reported and wasn't.

No idea what that has to do with background checks. It feels a bit like you're just throwing anti-gun-regulation spaghetti at the wall.

That there's no need for additional background checks or anything for that matter, as these firearms aren't actually the problem the pearl clutchers say they are. If this were actually about limiting violence, people would be looking elsewhere. Instead they just spin it so their teams of useful idiots can show up here and parrot misinformation and falsehoods about how these laws are going to have a meaningful impact with effective background checks or some shit like that.

a_cute_epic_axis

Nobody is going to mission impossible you or anyone else on this thread.

We are not talking about password slots on a yubikey. No FIDO key comes with a "password manager" and even OnlyKey, which is the closest, doesn't apply.

Any PWM is by definition at catastrophic risk of malware on a local host, and basically every popular one has been known to have flaws that directly contradict your assertions.

You are the walking and talking embodiment of Dunning Kruger, go back to the kids table, adults are speaking. You are not knowledgeable on this topic, despite your pseudo intellectual comments here.

a_cute_epic_axis

You're not understanding that a password manager is a separate thing and is very much open to compromise. You're factually incorrect in what you are saying because of this. We aren't talking about extracting keying from a yubikey.

a_cute_epic_axis

Other than the entire contents of the PWM, because the comment specifically said, "if you open a password manager or anything else" then nothing will be stolen. Just that little issue. It's worse than what /u/TribalScissors is saying. If you open a PWM, then the entire PWM database could be dumped, unencrypted, immediately.

a_cute_epic_axis

Another swing and a miss, in addition to being completely nonsensical. But we all see you here with your pointless and failed ad hominem.

Ed: Apparently he was also upset that I made "f-bombs" and threats, but automod/human mods got 'em I guess? Sorry, not sorry, by Felicia, too bad you were so offended.

a_cute_epic_axis

This is nonsensical. You're just making up vendor lock-in. By your arguments, if you switched to any other vendor, you'd become locked in with them. None of that is true.

a_cute_epic_axis

I prefer them because of their versatility and large number of spaces for passkeys.

32 keys isn't exactly large, even if the Nitrokey 3 can store 24.

Many Token2 keys can store 300 resident credentials. Thetis can store 200. Titan is 250 I believe.

a_cute_epic_axis

Indeed, and the post is removed and author banned.

a_cute_epic_axis

Putting costco and porn passwords/passkey on yubikey is.. really not necessary.

Why not? If Costco and PornHub support U2F, FIDO2 2FA, then why wouldn't you use it, since it literally takes no space at all on the device and has no downside? Even if they supported resident credentials, in pretty much every hardware device except the Yubikey, storage tends to be massive at often 100+ keys.

a_cute_epic_axis

Technically it is not, unless using resident credentials, which are still super rare by comparison. Traditional U2F/FIDO2 stores no per-site/per-account data on the physical key at all.

a_cute_epic_axis

He's banned

a_cute_epic_axis

Yah once again, you're taking numbers out of context and makign it up.

You sound mad brother, cool off and enjoy your day alright

I'm not mad at all, I just think you're dumb as hell and am happy to point it out. Between you and the guy with the "there are 800,000 bikes in the city of Boulder" it's amazing to see such stupidity in such a small place!
