Or we could get rid of this weird ass spell and get something nice instead.

I bought a new T470 in 2017. It is still my primary personal computer. Over the years I have sunk in maybe 400 dollars into it. Got a new screen (broke it), new batteries, upgraded ram, and the power brick twice. Also new speakers but haven't put them in yet.

I have been looking for the same for years. Here are the reasons
- I only drink straight-from-the-tap water.
- I don't care if it gets a little bit cold or hot because it is a cold or hot day.
- I try to avoid microplastics so no plastic bottles.
- A glass bottle is liable to break (even though that's what I have been carrying around).
- Double wall/insulated have extra weight and volume that has no benefit for me.
That leaves a single-wall metal bottle option.

Reminds me of Prestige the movie.

Puck is meant to be the hardest hero to catch. But with all the new mobility spells in the game, and the power creep, it became too easy to catch Puck. Especially at the high level. Hence, the curved orb gives back Puck some additional mobility.
abdullahkhalids
This is a good suggestion.
abdullahkhalids
I hate this curved orb when playing Puck. I always make mistakes in high pressure situations, and its so wonky to use. I understand why it has to be in the game, but still.

Is the purpose of the shield to help prevent the battery from catching fire if you drop the tablet or whatever and puncture one of the cells?

The people running bots in regular dota don't want them to play against players. They want bots to play against bots in 5v5 to fast level up accounts. So bots run on the servers that don't have much traffic, especially in the middle of the night. So you won't see those bots in your games. But if we see the player count per server over time, we might be able to see bot activity.

Funnily enough the first player to do it in a pro game is Meracle https://datdota.com/matches/2739662793
Overall it has been done 24 times with 15 victories

If I had won that many tournaments, I too would be burned out. Yet I won't be able to coach my team to back to back 6th place at TI.

Einstein did all his best work in the first 10-15 years of his career. The remaining 35 years, he was just a regular top tier scientist, but nothing exceptional.
abdullahkhalids
To be fair, that team was pretty solid even before he was coaching. Compare with Heen who coached that Secret squad to 2nd place at TI.

Who else was a good pos 6? Pieliedie is one.

> 2 players who has never been to TI before (not me and Malady)
This is the saddest stat. Dota is dead.

As a geopolitical identification (completely independent of dota), neither Iran or Pakistan consider themselves part of the Middle East. Middle East is largely the arab cultural countries. You can see a map on wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_East
Iran thinks of itself as its own thing. Pakistan is part of South Asia (along with India/Bangladesh/smaller countries).
In Dota tournaments, Pakistan in the past has typically been attached to SEA by the tournament rules, but when there was a MESWA region, it were attached there. This is solely an administrative decision based on factors like ping. You can see this by going to any tournament page https://liquipedia.net/dota2/DreamLeague/27 and clicking on the tournament rules link on the right column. It's the sixth link there. People can and should do healthy amounts of beef on social media and irl. Give explosive interviews.During the game, I want to watch people be sportmen and play with grace and honor.
abdullahkhalids
There is a difference between being unsportsman-like during the game (to the point where other teams stop interacting with you), and creating beef outside the game. Basically, most teams decided that constant tipping was unsportman-like, and almost no one did it even 1/10th as much as OG did.

The map was made bigger because a lot of mobility was added to the game. So split pushing and ganking became unviable. Attempting either gets the opponents on you in like 3 seconds. So the map was made bigger, and it certainly helped open up the space of macro strategies.

Literally from the quote "Also when it comes to picks they have some special heroes. Maybe its just the meta that forces people to play the same. Or its just people aren't creative enough to try to figure out something else. People are lazy"
abdullahkhalids
But that's literally what Bane's is designed to do. He is supposed to be the king of 2x2 engagements. It's like saying, kotl is my go to hero for pushing lanes. Or Ursa for taking rosh. That's literally what the hero is supposed to do. That's not what makes the hero overpowered. It's their ability to win games that does.
abdullahkhalids
No. Valve experimented by trying to make him a core. He was certainly a decent core for that period of time, especially because he could farm with meteor hammer. That didn't make him overpowered as a support or an overpowered core. Just a strong core.
The strongest core iteration of Bane was when he had the two second brain sap on aghs with +300 damage at level 25. But even then his winrate was never that high.
abdullahkhalids
Bane is my favorite hero, and I don't think Bane was ever overpowered. Right now, Bane (one of the few heroes with 4 ranged spells) does not get the cast range neutrals. And aether lens is a poor item these days. Cast range is really important for Bane.
