Awesome thread!!
Aspirador = inhaler = vacuum cleaner
Lavaplatos = wash/plate = dishwasher
Rascacielo = scratch/sky = skyscraper
Recently I learned that some of these are called calque words in English 😁

Their website says that Enterprise support is available if that helps
aescnt
It might not be obvious but it's there

OpenCode! What you're describing is OpenCode. It connects to GitHub Copilot and works very similarly to Claude Code and other CLI agents.

Love it!
Noob question: why would you use the L trigger for firing rather than the R trigger?
aescnt
Sounds like it can be in English even. "I'm good but ___ has been difficult." — "the what?"
aescnt
any tips on how to do it? I'm thinking of making a preset with max interval = 1 day, but I'm not sure if that's the best way.

I had this happen to me after a holiday to a different country. I did reviews on my phone (set to a certain timezone), and my laptop showed inaccurate review counts (when set to another timezone). I fixed it by setting the same time zome on both.
aescnt
This is a good insight.
There are 2 L's in the English language. The word "level" would have a different L at the beginning and end. I find it easy to transition to a rolling R from the first kind of L ("light L", tongue touching teeth), but hard from the other kind of L ("dark L", tongue not touching teeth).

This is similar to what I do! I make "disambiguation" cards as cloze cards, like
``` {{c1::manzana}} — {{c2::apple}}
{{c1::manzano}} — {{c2::apple tree}}
```
How I set it up varies, it depends on what I'm confused on.

I'm still learning Spanish myself (3 months), just sharing I found an article that says adjective order matters. Eg, "Amiga vieja" would be "elderly friend", and "vieja amiga" would be "long-time friend".
aescnt
I would check out the "Statistics" tab. Is the actual retention close to 95%? Is the average retrievability pretty high too? If so, then the algorithm is working fine.
aescnt
Whoa this is stuff I missed outl learning! ¡Muchas Gracias!
aescnt
Thanks for sharing this!
What does "I didn't want to interview" mean here... Did they ask for interviews and you rejected them? What made you decide not to go ahead with them?
aescnt
Thanks! Im wondering... What would a "leadership skills" deck look like?
aescnt
Mostly defaults + fsrs, but what i changed is learning steps to 5m 43m. The default 1m 10m was just too soon, the 1m I feel like I'm doing cards as soon as I "again" them.
I also enable "bury siblings" because most my cards are reversible.
I'm learning languages btw
Also when I was cramming for a test (not languages), I made a custom deck with a very high retention (0.94 for something I had 2 weeks to study).
aescnt
Workaround: you can use the "custom study" feature on day 2 to review ahead. That will lessen your load on day 3.
Also, if you haven't yet, consider using FSRS which should algorithmically space intervals for you.

On the subject of "minimum recommended retention", just sharing some advice I recently learned.
At first I blindly followed it and set my retention rate to whatever it recommended.
I learned that this should not be how it's used. A recommended retention of 0.8 means I won't retain 1 out of 5 cards. Instead, I should set for the retention I want. Just sharing in case it helps another 😄
Hey I see you're using Songo! I've been using Rockbox on mine... how does Songo compare?
