After that, he's hit with the most stupid line of dialogue ever written, an a kiss that provokes second hand embarrassment and the consequential succession of events which is let everything be more fucked until a Deus Ex Machina arrives. The plot itself is dumb to begin with. But my god is that scene as dumb as it gets.
