Thats how my son is. He loves Sonic graphic novels. But he likes us reading to him. This year in first grade, we've developed a nightly reading time. Where before, only my wife and i would read, now he reads and then we read. I've found that i need to get books that are in his wheel house to get him going. They're usually board books like daniel tiger or dr. seuss. We also spent time in K doing flash cards of sight words and working on how to decode words that are bigger.
The thing i think we all need to know is that different kids reach different points at different times. Stressing out over arbitrary mile makers doesn't help anyone. We should make it fun and once its fun, they'll want to do it. If we put all this pressure on them and ourselves, everyone's going to hate it.

The problem is that there isn't enough time in the main quests do create a narrative. With the rush to end game(M+, raids, etc) no one wants to do the quests. Its just, click, click, click until you ding max level. To tell a decent story and have the exposition to make it worth while, the level experience would need to be 2-3x as long. Think wrath leveling or Legion, but then another 5-7 hours of questing at max level. Further more, each raid would need 2-3 hours of questing to make it pay off.
In addition, the delivery mechanisms would need to be improved. In game cut scenes, emotes, fleshed out characters that stick with us for more than an expansion. They have a limited amount of time and dev resources and they just choose to spend it elsewhere.
If you want a compelling narrative, wow just isn't it. I was excited for the World Soul Saga when it was announced, but its been a massive let down.

Go to a sam's club or Costco and get a box of hot hands. When you're not playing, put your hands in your pockets with hot hands.
Get a space heater for your jam spot.
Find a new jam spot that isn't so cold.

No the real problem is that every hero movie has to show the fucking origin story. Its super hard to create a movie that has that much world building and have it be compelling. The pacing is hard, the plot is hard. You kind of need to drop in the middle of something and add information as it goes. This movie was kinda doomed as soon as the plot contained so many characters.

Between spikes, you should def send it as soon as its up. However, if you're about to his a critical healing window and it wont be up in time, save it. Without looking at your logs i couldn't really tell ya. But in general, you should be sending DB, EB, and TA on cd. Then fishing for EB by using VE, and FB on rank 3. If none of those are up, use LF.

Preservation rises and falls on hitting the timings correctly. Especially if you have really good healing. When you look at the logs, look at what abilities cause damage spikes. Then map out your cool downs to lineup with those damage spikes. Ideally you want to use rewind twice and there’s usually one or two really big damage spikes for you to maximize your rewind time. Stasis can be a little more flexible. Because you can hold it for 30 seconds. Try to find two closely related damage spikes to use your stasis on. Try not to munch procs if you can help it.

I think this is the note for any would be writers who want to adapt comic books for the screen. There’s a reason why the comics are popular. There’s no need to rewrite whole swaths of a story. Just take some good stuff put it together. Figure out a way to make it work and hire decent actors. Sure this could work for all the rest of the other justice league characters.

As someone who doesn't like being in the public eye, how i overcome it is through rigorous preparation. And, i try to help my son kind of the same way. His first day of doing things, new grade, camp, etc; is always kind of tough. I make sure to talk to him about it. Help him think about the stuff he should be thinking about. If hes old enough to read, help him write a list. Have him talk to the bride or groom to get information. If you can fill in the gaps, it will be less scary.

This is How my guild does it. But we bring everything but enchants for raiders.

it was the most ships that the VFX dept could budget for this episode.
But seriously, prob not. They were a dying race but still manufacture ships. Thor could pilot one himself, so it stands to reason, they could have hundreds or thousands with one or two pilots per ship.

I have one and it’s fun but you spend a lot of time looking at the manual trying to dial in the settings. All the sounds are great, when you get there. But the hour or so it took to dial in and having to go back and reference the manual took a lot of the joy away from it. If it had midi, it would 100% be on my board. But it now sits on my display shelf of pedals I’m not using and idk if it will come down ever unless I’m really on the mood.

When you create the list from a csv it does this.

The pressure to play loud is coming from the drummer. Hes a former guitar player and really blasts the kit. So it seems like its an arms race to see who can "be heard."
I've been trying to play at a normal volume in the other bands i play in but they'll say "can you turn up." and when ill say "can you turn down?" thats when i get the stage volume line.
I do wear ear plugs or i have in ear monitors in.
afropuff9000
I wouldn't say super bright. The other guitar player and I usually swap between roles. No fuzz or distoriton unless its for a solo, but id say the problems are just from playing too loud, based off other people's responses.
afropuff9000
Mids are the most prominent. I play on the clean channel and the gain is edge of break up if i really dig in. I use it as a pedal platform and move of the gain comes from the pedals.
the gain staging is ChaseBliss Preamp Mk2 > JHS Distortion. The Distortion is only for solo's where its called for and its usually not on. The CB preamp is usually set to lower gains.
Details about the others are in my comment below.
pocket bard and a bluetooth speaker is the way.
