it spoke about how he did try stuff and ultimately time travel and that there was no winning. that doesnt mean you have to be a graceful loser. not able to win doesn't mean you cant still lose but fk up the opponent considerably whilst doing so.

im not saying he didnt do more to win. but rather he took the loss without flipping the board. u can just aim to fk the opponents plan without consideration of winning

like perhaps not use his prime avatar or set it to just overload by accumumlation of energy. set to blow the moment thr bridge fix is done. i mean if the enemy has a plan to trap you and ur immortal why not blow urself up to prevent the trap.

it did almost appear like he was going to drop something before shade advised about umbra being there.

if u know the enemy has set a trap and the condition of its completion why not set up ur own. id had like 6 reality core nukes in my shadow ready for deployment the moment the bridge is completed.

best scene with battleship still remains BSG when they warp into orbit to release the fighters and warp out again. that scene is fire

cradle has a known slow burn start i think its relatively chil for another book and half before its notched up a little in world and stakes

i notice an absence of cradle

ruin book 12 of unbound the book and audio were released over summer completing the series and the tale of felix nevar (blue eyed fiend)

Was my first system apoc story and i can tell you now after going deep jnto that rabbit hole its easily one of the worst. the ending sucked. the transition from one book to another sucked with some story and epic things having happened that are only briefly refferenced instead of giving us the good parts.
