all the gear all the time, get out of the habit of drinking, rarely excessively speed, dont put yourself in "sitting duck" positions in traffic, cover your brakes on stroads and intersections, and forget everything you know about "right of way".

new rider here, this is happening to me, it's like my sense of balance is constantly getting microflashbacks of some leaning from the last ride. it sort of reminds me of when I was a kid and i'd be coming home from being at the trampoline park all afternoon, i'd be walking around normal but i could still feel my body "jumping" and my stomach would randomly get butterflies anticipating an apex that I wasnt hitting. brain neuroplasticity is pretty interesting!

legitimate?

i never claimed my statement was a defense of that scene, i just thought the connection was funny, maybe that was the directors point, i too feel it felt kind of lazy for a movie.

i caught the vibe that the comedy skit cregger was going for with the umbrella corp. guy got in the way of that scene, they couldve made an action packed survival scenario involving maxine skillfully shooting and driving her way through hordes of the infected while trying to keep the two safe before succumbing and leaving the MC with the SMG in the sewer, instead we got "where's she going?" and yeah i agree it fell a little flat

the first scene in re 4 is a cop just wandering off into the dark for the protag to have to bregudgingly follow.

I think it's okay to talk or joke about porn, desire, and the concept of sex and sexuality as a whole, but showing someone who is essentially a stranger a specific video you have jacked off to unprompted is deviant behavior, and borderline sexual harassment.

andlius

yeah its like he's talking to someone from that world, not trying to explain it to someone from present day, definitely makes the experience more immersive

andlius

what? ew.

andlius

he'd have to magically project himself hanging out with everyone at the same time doing jesus stuff and be seen and heard on camera doing so, could be no problem for 1/3rd of an omnipotent being

andlius

they take place in houses, apartments, hotels, and other kinds of buildings or outdoor settings that generally do exist

andlius

how do i figure out how to buy chicken from farms that only use this method?

andlius

dont forget they also made another billionaire, like we need another one of those around

brave characters work for a creature feature like the thing, jaws, or alien, but imo it isnt the best idea for a movie about demonic possession, where not knowing what to do when faced with the unknown is more relatable and dynamic for the plot and discourse around the movie, it especially works so well for this movie because it's polarizing how many viewers thought bear did the best he couldve done while others thought he was thoroughly incompetent, if he was just a brave smart dude there would be less about the movie for ppl to analyze, the ending would need changing as itd feel unearned, and itd straight up be a comedy.

andlius

I like that he was a coward, i dont think the movie wouldve been as interesting or thought provoking if it was about a brave well-rounded righteous person trying to fix a fucked up wish

andlius

"Ungo good at throw rock, we should start rock band"

andlius

take it one step further, normal adventure movie but the main characters are high on hallucinogenics, have 100 artists animate different parts of the script like an exquisite corpse

andlius

that falls under "treating her worse"

andlius

the firmament is chemtrails!

democrats had to hand over their weather controlling machine to the republicans and forgot to hand them the instruction manual

feel like we had a big graphene conversation a decade ago that died down even though it's still on track to be one of the biggest technological gamechangers of this era of humanity. Mass production of graphene could drastically improve every aspect of construction emissions, medical sensors, water desalination and filtration, EV batteries, automotive efficiency, consumer products' durability, and even quantum computing.

how else can i feel exclusive and in the know if you are also in the know?
