I liked Lorex for few reasons.
No nonsense set up, no need of cloud subscriptions, integration with mobile app.
Offers enough customization for my need, like motion detection, zone set up. They also have a wired door bell which connects to NVR wireless.

Went with Lorex PoE. No
Complaints so far. Picks up everything in immediate area even at night

We humans are so simple at times. Despite everything going on in the world and our lives, refreshing to see so many healthy discussions about a question regarding a show which was last aired decades ago. Btw, am learning a lot about BSG through Reddit group discussions, than from watching actual show 😊
anewthread
Too bad, no ones making BSG movies. I would love to watch those Galactica, Vipers and Cylon basestar in fight on big screen

What’s/who is DSO

I have given trying to fix it for sports content. Only concern is that it looks terrible when you see ball in motion. But, for other content, it’s great for the price.

Seriously, i remember making a comment on this very topic in some other post. How much more brightness we need? I have a C3 and sometime at nights (depending on the content), i had to take break once in while so that my eyes don’t get tired from brightness. It’s especially way too much brightness if kids are sharing the tv.
anewthread
Great question op. But not the way i expected to start my Monday morning 😲
anewthread
Why not opt for delivery. As far as am aware of, price of tv is same in store or online. Was it on sale?
anewthread
Question though, why those connections are all outside? Isn’t it better if they bring in main cable inside and make other connections?
anewthread
Ok. It definitely better than native display. More crisp. I had another issue with sports content, specifically cricket and baseball where movement of ball was creating unpleasant viewing experience but after disabling motion related setting, it kooks fine. Overall i like this TV for the money paid. Overall upscaling could have been better, but again you can’t expect much from 75inch mini led which costs less than $700 including tax. Blackness and local dimming is great for non oled tv.

Curious question. Why no Mention of DTS in any of these discussions. While Atmos may be current and future, until recently (even now) DTS is standard option. In my opinion get a sound bar that does justice to both DTS surround and Atmos
anewthread
Looks great. Is it possible to share cost details, at least for audio setup?
anewthread
Ok, let me see how it works with Apple TV 4K. Thank you for all the inputs

C series. Best combination of OLED experience. Not too shabby but just premium enough to enjoy the OLED experience. If budget is no issue then go to C5, if you are type of person who says what’s a budget, then go G or M series
anewthread
Man, that’s so wrong. Hopefully LG is working on fix for that.

TV’s may come and go, Sound system remains for ages 😄

I’ve ignored updating my LG C3 to WebOS25. Does it have any benefit over OS23? Also did it break anything?

😂

Just get a sub woofer for that and it completes your set up. My experience, no matter how much you spend on soundbar set ups, it’s not same as a properly installed home theater. I have a7000 with subwoofer. It’s loud enough and has more clarity than i need for a home.

FYI - i am pretty certain, Capital one travel portal prices are usually higher or same as prices you find at actual hotel or airlines websites. I booked few hotel bookings through Capital one offers recently for the 10x points, but later realized that same rooms for same dates were actually cheaper by $10 or $15 through hotel website.
