I was 5 during 9/11 I remember it pretty clear for that age. One of my earliest memories. I was in the living room waiting to go to school and my mom turns on the tv. There’s just news coverage of a plane hitting a tower. I thought it was a movie scene at first. Then while my mom is making me a breakfast sandwich I see another planne hit the other tower. And I realize it’s actually news. I’m crying because in my little kid head New York was Denver and I was watching my dad being hurt at work. I cry because I’m afraid that my dad is there. (Which was a reality for people my age in New York at the time) I then see the news people talk about the jumpers and that there’s firefighters in the building. I couldn’t comprehend people were committing suicide. In my kid head I thought the brave firefighters had parachutes and was saving people and basically BASE jumping the victims to safety.

I’m not invalidating what an American soldier has suffered because they were screwed over by politicians and chicken hawks. The American troop is always treated with respect in my eyes but hey we have a president calling them losers and suckers

Here I’ll think for you. This is reason pharmacists and technicians have a pay differential. Sure techs work harder. But anyone can memorize and understand how to count pills, put insurance into a computer, compound drug etc. pharmacist have to apply knowledge, verify if the scripts isn’t going to contraindicate, counsel patients and evaluate the patients level of understanding. That requires higher cognition. Not everyone has those skills. Doesn’t mean they can’t learn but it’s not as simple as remembering things. Pharmacists also have the burden of responsibility, they’re responsible for the technicians, they have the burden of losing their license over someone else. This is all related to blooms taxonomy. There’s also Maslow hierarchy and you can put all this in and apply this and understand why people who make the big bucks make the big bucks. And hard workers make the baby bucks
