I added a comment because I accidentally downed one below so I up for this one

Watch this video. It sounds like it might fit your situation which is exactly the one I'm having right now with my 2014 SV FWD CVT

I definitely use “I have the patience of an adult” as a reaction to my wife when she’s clearly being impatient about something (she’s OFTEN the less patient of the two of us). It often gets the desired defensive response of her arms folded and a grunt. Sometimes, she’ll just shout it before I can say it because she recognizes the situation and doesn’t want to hear it from me yet again.

I also love the Rotarian’s response, “Elks are ok.”

My wife bought me the DVD box set as a gift, when we were still dating. Since then, she’s seen the whole show multiple times. So, many quotes are regularly used in our household.

Example: whenever we’re watching ANYTHING with Russian characters who are stoic or intractable, my wife has to hear me say…

“From a long, hard winter...”

and she laughs or rolls her eyes depending on her mood.

Another is from Charlie: “Respectfully, no…”

But mostly I vibe with nearly anything Toby says. She says he’s one part of my spirit animal.

Maybe the sweetest one to me personally is how we always refer back to the CJ and Danny conversation about their lives together after Bartlett leaves the White House. This was after many years of us working on our communication (like CJ, she was originally a closed book in many ways when we were dating and I didn’t really know how to build a future with that)

“I want to talk about [X]. I want to talk about [Y]. I just was us to TALK! because I like the sound of your voice.”

CJ: “Playing it fast and loose…”

Sam: “With the PRESIDENT?”

CJ: “Yeah. I know. I probably shouldn’t do that.”

These aren’t easily quotable in many situations, but I also love his conversation with CJ when she says defensively, “I think this is going really well, so far, Oliver. I almost find it hard to believe three different women have sued you for divorce!”

And of course, more from his conversation with Abbey -

A: “You better be careful, Oliver, you keep talking like a person and they’re gonna throw you out of the bar.”

O: “I’ve been thrown out of bars before.”

A: “I meant—“

O: “I know what you meant.”

I HAVE been looking for this!! Thank you!

/u/Thundorius - I'm curious. Why do you run from it? bad rendition or do you really dislike Aimee Mann?

IT LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO!!!!!!

we get it after all

With a restart, we'll still get a "lights out and away we go!!"

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS

Anyone found a tweet or explanation from SkySports as to why the missing audio?

same issue here

ESPN app on FireTV is only showing ESPN3-ES (Spanish) feed!!!

Where is the ESPN2-EN (English) feed?!?!?!

MacInnis. I love Prongs, but Mac’s skill set is still in demand in today’s NHL. I’d also love to see what MacInnis could unload with all these super-flexible sticks.

I can’t close my ass!!

First of all, I hope your son is doing well and wish you guys all the best with that.

Second, does your dad perhaps work at the Whole Foods in Town and Country? A few years ago, I could have sworn I saw Petro walking out of there one day as I was heading for a parking spot at First Watch.

Seeing him with Haas in F1 the past few years, he seems like a low-key guy... not that there was much to get excited about in that situation

His feud with Hulkenberg was entertaining, though

Yeah, I knew he was unavailable for next year, too. but I'd love to see him come to Indy eventually. Grosjean can teach him all he needs to know lol

Gutted for KMag. I hope he got hooked on IndyCar, especially when he was leading the race haha

Hinch is just sucking up sponsorship $$$. It's a shame, because I love the guy; but he's just not on a competitive level with the majority of the field anymore. So much talent had joined since he came in.

Have they done the replays from the first laps overtaking, etc? Or did I miss them? I saw the Sato/Daly one.

I also hope Magnussen gets to finish the race.

Let's go Herta!! (I want him and his dad to get a win on Father's Day)

I agree, re: Gwen. However, my ranking on the rest is different:

Stevie = Moira = Alexis > Jocelyn

I’ve enjoyed the ‘Alexis was a spy’ backstory so much she’s become irreplaceable.
