Something beautiful is going to happen.

Watched it last Thurday evening. Best movie I've seen so far this year.

The closest that comes to mind is The Inheritors by William Golding.

It is a nitpick of a minor puzzle from a remake no one has fully played yet. Of course people will jump to conclusions and say that the entire game is dumbed down!

ashinyfeebas

Memorable is very subjective here. I didn't remember this puzzle at all until your post. This single room is far less memorable than 90% of the rest of the game...

Seeing your username, now I want to see what Rich Evans would think of The Book of Henry. I can hear the cackling.

People in every town everywhere repeat rap music because it is a popular music genre

I'm afraid not, had just walked in when you had came out of the Digger showing mentioning the aspect ratio to the employee at concession.

Does anyone know what the reason for the long line was to begin with? I got there just as the showing for The Devils started last night at 7:10 and had only a few people ahead of me at most.

That's been passed through the hands of several owners in recent years with very messy results. I've heard there's plans to reopen it next year with new management though, and ones that actually care at that.

I remember that issue with the heating, but I've never had bad popcorn from Spectrum. Perhaps I've just been lucky?

I'm a guy and this kind of take surprises me. Sparrowhawk gave up almost everything to save Earthsea in The Farthest Shore. Of course he would then become a goat herder after all that! To think he was "reduced" when he had done the work any hero would be expected of doing, is just a bad take. A bad take most men seem to make... Then again I do understand that Tehanu is heavily influenced by feminist thought, but that doesn't mean Sparrowhawk is meant to be a loser or useless. That isn't what feminism as an ideology actually espouses.

BotW is very much a sandbox, open-world kind of game. You can go anywhere and complete the game in any order you want, and the tools you're given allow you to complete puzzles in a variety of ways outside of the developer's intention.

OoT by contrast is linear and classic Zelda. The game is curated in a specific way with tools that are explicitly designed to be the intended (and usually only) way to complete puzzles and dungeons.

Both games are fantastic but there's a reason OoT is considered to be one of, if not the greatest, games of all time. You'll love it, just don't expect to be able to climb everything in sight with a stamina meter.

Totally agree!

Do mistakes have to be accidental? I would think there are plenty of murderers in prison who upon retrospection believe they made a mistake in intentionally committing murder...

ashinyfeebas

Could you turn up the brightness on your photo? Can't see what's happening. /s

ashinyfeebas

Great, it's gonna be so dark I won't be able to see a damn thing on-screen.

ashinyfeebas

Yes, and the Public Safety Commissioner position was removed too.

This is also assuming that those positions being removed were even filled in the first place? Do you know if those positions were filled previously? I'll admit I'm ignorant on that fact.

ashinyfeebas

Man this kind of thing sounds so completely out of touch with the majority of people in the world. That's fuck you I can do whatever I want levels of money! This isn't to say that luxury goods are bad, but in the context of OP's post no wonder she left him on read.

ashinyfeebas

Hmmm, perhaps I just had a bad understanding of the systems then. What do you think of the monster stat blocks? I had also found them to be lacking and difficult to make enough of a threat for my party. Even with The Monsters Know What They're Doing to help me strategize I'd still usually end up with my bosses and their mooks getting shut down and annihilated by my group.

ashinyfeebas

My hair is currently about the length of the rightmost photo and I'm wishing I had the volume on my crown that you have! Looks great dude.

ashinyfeebas

Should be mentioned that the likelier causes of this are two new positions being created that weren't in the 2026 adopted budget:

Not saying there isn't any salary increases in there, but I'd assume that this is a driving factor for that increase.

ashinyfeebas

Agreed. 5e encounter building is broken and uses the 6-8 encounter/day method that no tables I've ever seen or heard use. PF2e is actually built to work and does so in spades.

ashinyfeebas

Hell there's all sorts of examples of supposed black belts on the level of Chuck Norris over in r/TheMcDojoLife and r/Bullshido .

I see a big difference there than with OP's post, where he recorded him using cheats and admitted to using them out of frustration. At least he's being honest with himself and us, even if it wasn't his own skill that got him the win.
