I see, thank you, great pointer. What does "few" layers mean, what N = ....would suffice with a wall function?
Looking at AutoCFD workshops is probably the next best step for me.

Hmmm interesting. By the same league you only mean monitarily or in terms of pure capacity? What does Pointwise do right that other meshing tools are not able to do? Can you give me some specific pointers...

atharvaaalok1

Hey, have you used it and compared with other tools? What are the key pros and cons?

atharvaaalok1

Oh I see, so Gmsh doesn't handle prism layers for 3D geometries provided as STL files?

atharvaaalok1

Hey, thanks for the info. Could you elaborate on y+=1 coverage? How would you get that?

atharvaaalok1

Yeah something like this would be super helpful.
I only found zsh-jupyter-kernel.

It would be great to have something that would give me a prompt in the notebook which would wait for me to fill it in just like on an actual terminal.

atharvaaalok1

Wow what a lightening reponse!

atharvaaalok1

Did you solve this?

atharvaaalok1

Also, have you worked with it before?
Have you compared it with any other GPU solvers?

atharvaaalok1

I care deeply about accuracy.

atharvaaalok1

Can you elaborate more on this perhaps.

atharvaaalok1

I don't see how this addresses the question? Could you please elaborate?
I am doing what you say.

atharvaaalok1

Nothing is periodic here. I am not going to integrate beyond 2pi.

atharvaaalok1

Could you please elaborate? What do you mean redundant? What do you mean do with Fourier Series? What do you mean symmetry is obeyed?

atharvaaalok1

I see. Let me have a better look at it. Personally, I am not the best at C++ and my primary research does not involve developing software for geometric loss functions :)

So I am not sure if I would be willing to commit to a long term C++ project for this. Python is easier but as you say could suffer from performance issues.

Hey, thanks for the interest! I started work on it 2-3 days ago. Just put code that gets the job done for a few loss functions to have something to show people.

In no way is any of the loss function optimized. Looking for domain experts to help in that aspect. That is why I am inviting collaborators :)
