I was thinking the same, I was an IV user for over a decade on top of sucking on fent patches and smoking hard and I have lost one single tooth and that was from breaking it on my tongue ring and never having it taken care of until extraction was my only option.

They aren't unsubstantiated when I and multiple others have experienced first hand the absolute BS this "rescue" puts animals and volunteers through on the regular. Shes a glorified animal hoarder who uses sick and injured animals to tug on the heart strings of compassionate community members to bilk them for money. She exploits animals for monetary gain, that's not unsubstantiated lol

Jamie is currently refusing to help a few poor sick kittens with oozing eyes who are out in the rain without someone putting up money for them. She is posting pictures of them asking for money but when the someone offered to take them in she said she wouldn't disclose their location. When someone contacted the SPCA who offered to take them in and get the vet care she still wouldn't disclose the location. She would rather animals suffer if she cannot make money off them. She expects her fosters to pay for care out of pocket and then never reimburses them. She leaves cats with fosters indefinitely. One lady has had hers over a year and Jamie just stopped answering.

Don't feel bad. Don't put human emotions onto the dog. He doesn't get upset being in there. It's his quiet time. There's no reason for you to feel bad. I was recently struggling with this same issue and since being more strict about what time and how long I leave our pup in the crate for it has been sooo much easier to keep her on a schedule and has made her life and my life so much less stressful. Don't feel bad!
