Ignore those parents. I wish parents brought such team snacks to our practice. Most brought Gatorade and some kind of chips/goldfish crackers. Kids were 6-8 year old. I brought lemonades (because I don’t think such little kids need a whole Gatorade and all that sugar after playing in cold weather for barely an hour), oranges, and pretzels.

Slightly older teens in my area, like 14+, hang out at the gym, pickleball courts, the local drive-thru coffee shop (that has picnic tables outside). Early middle schoolers are enrolled in 10 different activities and spend time there I guess.

Mods check me!

Yes, same. I’d try to find out if he didn’t want to play because the other kid had been mean or made him uncomfortable in any way but if there was none of that, I’d be encouraging my kid to go play.

The 6-year-olds on my street have learned to tell which kid is home based on what car is parked in the driveway 😂. We love having them over and mine has been having the best summer running off from one house to another so it’s not a problem. but at this point we’re not able to lie that we’re not going to be home. One day my husband took the kids somewhere in the other car that’s parked in the garage and I had a trio of 6-year-old interrogators on my porch grilling me on why the car was in the driveway but my son wasn’t home. It was the cutest thing ever and I don’t think they believed me at all 😂.

Our neighborhood pools have it for 10 mins at the end of every hour and that’s when the lifeguards go on break. Seems totally reasonable to me.

Depending on the budget:
Melissa and Doug ice cream set (the most popular toy in my house for years and for anyone who we’ve gifted it to), balance bike, yoto player with some cards.

Yup, my 6-year-old plays with the other 6-year-olds on our street but the 9+ year olds barely acknowledge each other even when they’re all out together and the parents are talking and hanging out.

This is the way. And if you really want them to have one more thing, make it one of the ones offered at the school so they’re getting the enrichment without any extra pickups and drop offs for you. My 6 year old does chess at school and soccer and swim in the evenings.

I’m so sorry for your losses. I lost my dad a few years ago and found this Reddit comment to accurately describe grief. I hope reading it provides you some comfort, like it did for me. https://www.reddit.com/r/Assistance/s/x7MCanwVbe

But must she do it for the cameras? Having two kids under 3 is a lot of work (I know this sub believes that Nabela doesn’t do any of the work of parenting). So what we’re saying is that she needs to orchestrate and choreograph this video to prove to her followers that she loves her youngest as much as her oldest.

Hold on, let me send a message to nabela to get rid of a1 for a few hours so she can meet the expectations of this sub’s users of seeing A2 get 1:1 time with mommy. Some of ya’ll need to get a different hobby lol.

It’s because she needs to show the workout content but can’t show the front because of her gigantic belly. And nothing wrong with having a belly because everyone’s body is what it is. But with her it’s clearly a facade of being healthy and tiny, squeezing into those leggings while the front is probably bursting at the seams.

Thank you!!

The real MVP! Thank you for sharing this analysis! Going to check out dreamsofa now.

No.
Seriously. Should we start sending her those cozy lighting TikTok’s to help her out? Her algorithm is clearly not her friend.
