It’s good you’re noticing the “ball of your foot” heel side cheat that can happen from slidy wheels like snakes. Even tho I’ve been doing standups for years, it was this summer that I started more consciously trying to balance the slide in a way that I error on heel pressure but in a way that doesn’t lowside.

It was a less intuitive way to balance with heel pressure for me since other sports have balance = ball of foot but once it clicked my heelsides felt more consistent across wheel types.
