QR credit card is a bit rare to find even most merchants with card logo turn it off since it cost them fees

If you really want to use them just ask for the normal promptpay qr and see if they have credit turn on, if not just pay with regular promptpay

My wild guess is it's exactly 3% of the total which is roughly the cut phone carrier give to topup agent, so that might be the shop cut
