Oh come on, this isn't a place for logic and common sense, that doesn't get the face all red and the hyperventilation in flow.

Grocer's daughter...

barcodez

Why are American interviewers such pussy?

It's because billionaires are funding a propaganda campaign that the immigrants are the enemy, a huge problem, and the racists lap it up because it 'legitimises' their racism. In reality the billionaires are the enemy, they horde wealth so that everyone suffers. There is really plenty to go around if a few individuals didn't horde everything.

Don't be so disingenuous. That's absolutely not what was being proposed in the post, a post that got removed, let's remember, because it was so vile, an assault to common decency, which doesn't seem to be so common anymore.

barcodez

Shocking that I get so many downvotes for standing up to a fascist, what has this country come to?

barcodez

Open a history book and educate yourself. My post was about the parallels between what you were proposing and the way Nazi Germany progressively persecuted groups of people. It didn't happen overnight. Laws and state policies were introduced that excluded and discriminated against Jews, Roma, gay men, disabled people and others, while policing and punishment became increasingly severe. People were classified, stripped of rights, excluded from society, imprisoned, sent to concentration camps and, in the case of Jews and Roma, ultimately subjected to systematic genocide. Disabled people were also systematically murdered by the state.

It was a gradual process, and that's precisely why phrases like "lest we forget" are supposed to mean something. The lesson isn't that every modern policy is somehow equivalent to Nazi Germany. It's that normalising the progressive removal of rights from particular groups is something we should recognise and challenge before it goes further. It seems like nobody has a shred of historical education any more.

Ohhh, we could create some small huts and fence it off, sort of concentrate them in those areas, we could call it a 'camp'... wait a second I've heard this idea somewhere before /s

barcodez

Yes, chicken al la chlorine is a delicacy to some.

barcodez

Don't worry Burnham is already on that case.

barcodez

He's not a man. He's a piece of sh*t.

barcodez

Confronted with lies you mean. And you're right, I can't be bothered.

barcodez

This is all lies or mistruths and I just can't be bothered arguing with deluded people and/or bots.

barcodez

Yes, yes he has.

barcodez

Don't bother he's been run down in the media and people believe whatever slop they are fed. Personally I think Khan has done a great job, actually empirically he's done a great job, yet the media shit on him. With this we end up with the person in charge who's best at media management and that's how you get maga.

there you go thinking things through again, like some sort of socialist communist, how very unamerican of you, this is not the capitalist way

barcodez

What a pathetic disgrace.

barcodez

Reported as 'hate', you can't say that, you don't know what that means. ffs.

barcodez

By comparison with that existing today, all the tyrannies of the past were half-hearted and inefficient…Part of the reason for this was that in the past no government had the power to keep its citizens under constant surveillance. The invention of print, however, made it easier to manipulate public opinion, and the film and the radio carried the process further. -- 1984

With AI and a rogue government you are fubar.

barcodez

You can't prove the point can you - sad for you.

barcodez

"Content not viewable in your region" lol

barcodez

Isn't impersonating a Police Officer also a crime, which should/could be reported.

barcodez

What pants? I can't see anything, it's like your lower half is invisible.
