Personally I find it trashy. There are many cooler things you could do with that space.

One time I was plastered at a karaoke bar and two college dudes went up to do Paul Revere. I very quickly decided they weren't doing it well enough and went on stage and took the mic from one of them and started rapping the entire thing word for word. They quickly realized my beastie boys dominance and relinquished the stage to me to finish the song in their place. I do not have a very clear memory of this, but the people I was with remind me of this frequently.

There are multiple things that are included that are sexualized when they do not need to be, like the scene you posted. It gets worse/weirder, and the manga is on a whole other level.

There's also non sexualized things that happen that are even more traumatic imo, including but not limited to A LOT of grotesque body horror.

It's an amazing series, one of my all time favorites, but just be prepared to see body horror and some sexualization of the main characters. if you can't handle that, tap out.
