I heard Won't Stand Down at Kroger

Bedford is cheaper, closer to Crane. The Walmart is way better. The Golden Corral is legendary. They actually have a normally functioning movie theater. And for most of Bloomington (with exceptions), you would be driving to get to those "things to do" anyway, so you just drive a little farther. And if you are working full-time at Crane, the occasional drive for "things to do" is less annoying than a lengthier daily commute.

And they would end up killing Bloomington Hardware and Lowe's would also end up shutting down from traffic loss.

From Home Depot perspective, the local market is sufficiently saturated with both Lowe's and Menards here already. Its not big enough to support a third hardware superstore. If HD comes, Lowes will end up closing or the HD won't last long. And there are already several home depots within reasonable driving distance. Menards is a tough company for HD to successfully compete against in a small midwest market like this.

Prior to the I-69 upgrade it used to be a yield sign there and the traffic flow was supposed to go direct into the next lane over. For some reason people can't change their habits and still treat it that way even though the traffic flow is now meant to be an on-ramp onto bloomfield and a merge over.

My first real road bike and my first Trek. Picked up for a bargain, but after a bath and a tune up, its pretty slick

That would just give Duke another reason to raise utility rates yet again

Having seen the show at a different venue I did not experience bright white light to the face, but there was a lot of lighting which I rather enjoyed the visuals. At that point, I wonder if it was venue issue at wherever you were sitting.

the fact that tit was amphitheater and not an arena means they actually held back on the production for that show https://youtu.be/MK4JTflalB8?si=r6tyad_TCfVcWxKc

"....the 92-member Redistricting Study Commission, which met nine times from April through December 2025 and examined about 50 possible attendance-zone scenarios... One of the commission’s main conclusions was that MCCSC had not yet established clear enough targets to judge whether a particular map is successful.
The commission found that redistricting could improve socioeconomic balance among elementary schools. But it could not say how much improvement would be enough, because the board had never set a maximum acceptable gap among schools.
The commission reached essentially the same conclusion about cost effectiveness: It could not determine whether a scenario saved enough money without first knowing how much savings the board would consider meaningful."
What is the board actually doing then? I guess we are just at the acceptance stage and have moved past denial finally, but seriously, has no one thought about any potential plan?

So they presented at the council meeting and there are no mentions of comment from council members of the proposal? I can't imagine that there would be any support.

Love the HAL reference given that Matt has equated the "higher power" of the WOW! Signal as potentially being AI several times. I think they need to redo the Ay Sir now to match better. Have the first one be very subdued, basically spoken like a church response, and each succeeding one be magnitudes more intense. And maybe not use a weenie young male voice.

I'd be down with Sickness just replacing Psycho on the playlist. No need for Psycho at this point. Sickness is better. The only downside would be that I won't be able to sing "Your ass belongs to me" to my SO anymore.

LOL. I actually intended to type she so I apologize for the typo. The guitar solo for Be With You starts at about the 2:40 mark and is very much more of the classic rock type of solo. It is very Brian May style and the anti-queen crowd actually criticized the song for it. Also reminds of the solo in Madness. I sort of agree with you on Cryogen by the way, which is sacrilegious to say on this sub. I didn't find it particularly compelling or interesting and just found it felt like a retread. Hexagons intro and outro actually use a lot of 80s classic rock type of guitar reminiscent of Van Halen to some degree so you may want to relisten and I also suggest a relisten to Dark Forest on good headphones or sound system. Dark Forest is actually much less modern and uses a lot of guitar and chooses to use real orchestra and chorus for a lot of the effects and sound signature. The guitar work in it is fabulous although often doubling over the top of the orchestra and Matt goes nuts with the whammy bar which gives it a a very unique, other worldly sound. He is basically sort of mimicking the idea of violin vibrato but the whammy bar exaggerates it to a great degree.

I am thinking maybe what the OP is reacting to is the fact that we don't really have too many searing Reapers/New Born style guitar solos on the album as a whole. The guitar solos for Dark Forest - Matt is basically using the guitar as a replacement for a solo violin which is a much different style. Hexagons - the guitar is both solo and texture at the same time, duetting with a synth for the intro and heavily leaning into a tapping style of playing. Nightshift is all about the bass line. Cryogen has the plug in baby style riff he mentioned. Unravelling, and Sickness are all about the riff rather than guitar solos, although there is a nice one in Unravelling. We get one Brian May style vocal derived solo on Be With You which was largely lacking guitar up until that very moment.
Its a heavy guitar album yes, but I think OP is wanting the traditional rock song guitar solo and those are a bit more lacking. Personally, I love the guitar stuff on this album. There's so much virtuosity and so many layers of it and Matt uses it in so many different ways. Some absolutely jaw dropping stuff for a player.

This guy seems to be shredding all the things that make Muse, well Muse. It feels like a guy who would disparage Beethoven because he doesn't sound like Mozart.

Muse Ice Cream? Will it be nitrogen frozen? Will there be special flavors? I'm tempted to fly to LA just for that!

Low quality phone recording obscuring that it is actually quite a substantial chorus. https://www.instagram.com/p/DZ92qWeEVng/?igsh=MXY0Y2p0cDUwbHVxYg%3D%3D&img_index=10
Interesting that the two albums without any representation are Resistance and TW!S.
