NA has produced some really solid FSs, meanwhile EMEA has historically been a good MS region. But yeah, neither of them are producing anything om the tier of Korean supports regularly

I agree with Dva and Zarya. Dva can completely shut down any of your engagements, has more flexible movement to chase you, and wins the 1v1. Zarya just beams you and it's hard to outvalue the raw dps on most maps .

JQ is actually Doom favored imo. Doom has historically been the hard counter to JQ comps in organized play, because his AOE CC let's him completely disrupt JQ's linear engagements and charge ult insanely fast. Doom also has 3 ways to not get hut by Axe, so Queen should never really be getting that off. You mainly just need to play off angles to make the Queen waste her time forcing you out, and you need to hard engage on Queen's backline if she ever tries to push your team.

Orisa still technically counters Doom, but it's not a hard counter matchup. Tbh most players just heard people talking about the natchup early in OW2's lifespan when nobody knew the matchup and counter without knowing the matchup (all Orisa has to shut down Doom consistently is spearing him out of block).

Freeze perk is better because it limits the enemy tanks options. If you think it's worse, then my thoughts are that you haven't played against good tank players. Even in ranked, pro Mei players take the freeze perk.

Most high level Mei players take the blizzard perk when they play her. And most heroes im the game aren't straightforward, no matter how easy they are

She has a deceptively high skill ceiling, but I've played a lot of Mei the last couple months, and her skill floor is definitely in limbo, especially against uncoordinated teams

Ana was pretty terrivle for a long time u til the headshot perk buff, and even then she needed a couple more buffs. She's obviously pretty broken rn (even though there are 3 supports who are somehow stronger), but you don't need suzu to deal with an Ana, and Kiri isn't wholly balanced around that matchup, anyway
