Definitely enthusiast tier only. My coffee enthusiast uncle has one and thats the only time I’ve ever heard of anyone owning one.

The graph for Oregon is shaped like Oregon.

They’re showing as $0.28 in my area so pricing is likely regional. Still a 12% increase which isn’t great.

I also recall seeing some in Depoe Bay not too long ago.

It does seem to be in the direction of the red light cameras at Sunset, so that’d make sense since there’s probably a fair number of people speeding through the light when the road is virtually empty. The fog is quite possibly just making it more noticeable.
Could also be the lights on the footbridge but that makes less sense since I’ve never seen it flash before.

You can probably post it to r/Baseball once it’s the MLB offseason

Former Providence IT here. Left a couple years ago when I saw the writing on the wall regarding outsourcing.
Even when they still had majority U.S.-based staff, we were basically treated as numbers and were incentivized to get people off the phone as soon as possible. And good luck if it’s an issue requiring something you don’t have access to fix. I was one of the few staff that cared to actually try to implement real solutions, so I rarely got off the phone within the timeframe they wanted and often got penalized for it.
Naturally this just led to a bunch of half-measures that only made things worse over time. Can’t say I’m surprised it’s gotten worse.

I had someone submit a ticket a while back and when I responded literally 2 minutes later I got an auto-reply mentioning that they literally just retired. Like why even submit a ticket at that point.

It’s almost certainly the Blue Angels practicing for the air show in McMinnville this weekend. There’s been a few posts on other Portland-area subs about them.

My local hockey team sold them until 2010 since then everyone wanted one. So they had to stop allowing them due to the noise.

They’re all under $3 at my local McDonald’s and I’m in a more HCOL area. Still a far cry from the dollar menu days though.

Best video I could find, although it was during COVID so the experience is probably slightly better now.

Dirty soda shops, at least in non-Mormon areas.

Worth mentioning that they only play the organ at their 8:30 service. They still sing hymns at the 11:00 service, but don’t have an organist.

According to PulsePoint there was smoke reported near the middle school at around 8am, otherwise it could just be a controlled burn from a nearby farm. There’s a fair amount of those this time of year since risk of the fire spreading is lower due to everything being wet still.

This drop box is actually in my hometown that I grew up in, passed by it hundreds of times without thinking about it. Wild to see it on here
Had someone open a literal can of worms that had been sitting out in the heat for an entire weekend. I now know where the expression comes from.
