They absolutely do not look fine lol.
What the fuck is that third image? A velvet bag that closes at the top, with a wine stem coming out of the bottom?
They’re trying to say they’re farm to table and sustainably sourced but the vibe these give off are the same dropshipped fidget toys.
This could be the best wine in the city but looking at this communicates that’s its terrible mass produced garbage.

It’s less about like the fonts and more so…. That’s not what your product looks like. It’s food or whatever and it looks nothing like what I’m going to order and EAT. Phones have better cameras on them than the average point and shoot did years ago, yet people are too lazy to take a photo.
If you’re that lazy with showing off your product, and don’t have enough pride to show off the real thing, then why the helllll should I buy it and consume your mystery food?
Aside from that, it’s visually noisy. There’s so much info splashed on there that doesn’t need to be there, and it looks the same as every other business. It’s visual noise that fades into the background of some nothing-content that I’m scrolling past and not even registering in my brain.

Would be great with Ubuntu, or Linux Mint.

I was kinda freaked out at first when trying it but after an hour I was used to it.
Now it’s hard to use a computer without it.

My what?

What’s up with all these AI slop coders not understanding how to do the simplest shit on a Mac?
Why did I have a better grasp of the operating system at 17 years old using a cracked version of Logic than these braindead “coders”?
bigthinkerrr
You don’t even work for them yet and they’re already trying to discipline you (for things/policy you didn’t even know at that). Huge red flag, domineering control freak energy.

I need a new video editing rig pls stop
bigthinkerrr
Damn, I was just about to make this same post today lol.
Same as you I have a Linux laptop on pop_os that I mess with, and I’d love to at the very least get some easier on the eyes themes going on macOS.

I’m a podcast editor. I’ll feed it the audio and ask for a transcription, then feed the transcription to Gemma 4 12b and ask for 3 options for show notes (based on styles from past examples.)
Really simple and nothing too complex, but saves me a bit of time and brain power.
bigthinkerrr
I see people ask about this a lot. I know it’s not 100% the same but what’s stopping y’all from making a yourself a theme that’s a bit less eye strain? I’ve been using a gruvbox theme that’s pretty comfy.

NOR. She’s gotta learn to stop. However, Bandaid solution is to share your location. Bad part is she can see where you are at all times and will probably pester you about that / opens a new vector for anxiety.

Could be a shit place with high turnover. My last job hired me very quickly and that’s what it turned out to be.

Yeah I read all of that and I still don’t really understand; they just added a bigger heat sink?
That doesn’t seem too revolutionary to me. My other concern would be, sure the chip temps are dropping, but are you spreading heat to areas / components that shouldn’t be getting that level of heat? 🤷🏻♀️
bigthinkerrr
I know this sounds maybe too simple, but have you tried to empty trash + restart?
I got stumped by this when dumping proxy videos not too long ago lol

This seems like a decent deal.
I feel like I see M1 refurbs go for closer to $800 these days.

As someone that worked in QA… uhhh they all got laid off

So IF a company discloses they’re using “xyz AI” to rank resumes, there’s typically a link to the terms and conditions that will describe how it works and what they do with your info.
Just copy that into whatever LLM you’re using and ask it to tweak your resume based on that and the job posting.
You’ll of course need edit the output so it’s not too obvious that it’s just repeating words from the job post, because eventually a human will read it down the line (ideally).

I think there’s a project that got Linux running on a PS5
bigthinkerrr
This is what justifying a $2k pedal and $200 a pop plugins looks like.
bigthinkerrr
Lol tell me about it. Searching for wallpapers for any popular color scheme just gets you a wall of anime slop photos lol.

I’ve been rewriting / tweaking for a year, applying off a job or three a week for almost a year and got nothing.
Applied for a job where they explicitly said “we use ___ AI vendor to review candidates”.
So I grabbed the terms that were linked, fed them to an AI, and told it to tweak my resume and cover letter based on the job description and how that vendors AI reviews resumes.
Got the interview and the job.
I did edit both its outputs to adjust things that were wrong, overflow, or had way too much AI fluff. But unfortunately/fortunately it seemed to have worked.

AI can’t shape a neck or file frets, so there’s that.
Everyone’s given you pretty solid advice so far though.

Software Engineer and UX designer are different though.
If it’s a software engineer using AI to assist, ofc the front end UI is going to be generic.
the music scene is really tight.
Go see some local shows!
