Probably Brain Stew, Holiday, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, When I Come Around. It's all chords and power chords and not played too fast.
Then, if you wanna test your ability to do power chords on a faster tempo, try American Idiots. This one is not more difficult fundamentally then the others, but the chord changes quite faster in this one, making it a little move challenging for beginners. There's also Good Riddance, that changes chords a little faster and adds some nuances in the playing that could be interesting to learn then.
If you then wanna test your picking technique, try Wake Me Up When September Ends and 21 Guns. Again, not very difficult songs, but for a beginner that will definitely test your technique a little more.

If you bend over, it probably means your action is very high, and maybe way too high if it's not intended.

Can play anything on a Strat. Wasn't a slipknot member that was or is using a fender telecaster? Ok with EMG pickups I think but still, pickups don't make music style by themselves.

The keyword here is "melee"
That's a pretty old setup, unless you get it for basically free, its not worth it.
- 8 GB RAM is atrocious on Windows 11 (usable on Linux tho)
- CPU is not great for nowadays tasks. Definitely usable (especially on Linux) for light tasks like web browsing
- GPU is OK (for a 10+ yo one), can still be used in old games or even lightweight current ones, but don't expect great things. You'll probably have worst issues (RAM, CPU, Storage) then the GPU honestly
- Storage is a roadblock : 120 GB SSD is just not enough nowadays, and the 1 TB HDD is only good for storing photos and documents, not OS or programs, its going to be terrible
TL;DR : OK-ish for a very lightweight workflow on Linux or a Linux homelab. Otherwise, no, pass.
