Sure they have. I'd wager even the Dark Sun setting has had people using DCC to run it. Settings are very mutable to rulesets.

Look at the kinds of attrition it does. The more severe the more difficult I'd say. I don't think you missed anything, it seems intentionally omitted.

Awesome stuff! I also have the players make all the die rolls for the mapless encounter movements and what turns up. Also I'd add one of the Monster Stat Block "Mouse pads" to that collection of stuff..

Beautiful layout. One thing to note on Crown & Skull is that unlike most TTRPGs you won't be needing a Referee Screen. C&S is a player driven narrative game so the referee will want to roll dice out where everyone can see it.

Typically these will be the tactical choices each enemy makes.

When I run C&S and the party encounters enemies, I tell them stat line and tactic possibilities of the enemies before we break down into Phases. and then when I roll Enemies tactics everyone knows whats up and we all join in on creating the narrative of what just happened.

There is also a C&S Player's Cheat Sheet one pager floating around that makes a good quick reference item.

As the GM you are free to create your own content to replace the content in question. I'd do this by learning what the the players gain or learn by overcoming it and create something else thematic to do there instead. You don't have to use 100% as written when running things for your group. Adjust it to fit. With any luck you could make it a better experience by throwing in an astronomy or cooking challenge, etc.
