Sorry, I got the price wrong. I went back through my receipts and it was ¥18,678. I’ll DM you.

¥50,000 is way too much for even the maximum dose. I’d suggest anyone that gets prices like that should find another pharmacy. I pay ¥1500 for the doctor consultation and like ¥12,500 ¥18,678 for a month of 5mg.

I missed a water bill payment once and had to travel halfway across the city to pay in person in cash. I won’t make that mistake twice.

Somewhat relevant post from yesterday on cheap options: https://www.reddit.com/r/japanresidents/comments/1pdp1ef/any_cheaper_way_to_get_drivers_license_in_japan/
Relevant post from a while back on converting a SOFA license, in case that is relevant: https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/comments/1dcc9rk/sofa_license_conversion_to_japanese_driver_license/
What prefecture are you in?
The rest of my answer will assume you actually have to start from scratch and can't convert the SOFA license:
Even if you have experience driving, you have to learn exactly what they want you to do for the test. At the very least, you'll need to find YouTube videos that cover this, but this is where a driving school can help a lot. There are a la carte options where you can do single practice sessions, without signing up for an entire course. They can help you spot any poor habits you've developed and go over exactly what the test will look for.
Keep in mind that you'll have to do 10 hours of specified on-road driving practice. If you don't do this through a school, you'll need to find someone with 3 years of experience to do this practice with you and sign off on it.
The written test wasn't that hard, in my opinion. If you take it in English, though, the translations can sometimes be a bit confusing. Don't rush, because there are some trick questions, but don't overthink it either. I took two tries on the first written test, but the second written test and the two driving tests I passed on the first try (with good preparation). There are some questions that involve other vehicle types, but mostly in what you are permitted or not permitted to drive or what signs indicate particular vehicles are allowed. I used "The Master of Your Driving" book, and found that more than adequate to pass the written tests.
You cannot use your own car on the test.

What's your purpose in labeling it as "AI written"? If you're using that to dismiss the point entirely, then I think this is an un-nuanced take. Nothing gets written by AI without a human driving the AI, and there are obviously some legitimate concerns outlined in this post that may reflect OPs own thoughts. There are plenty of reasons why someone would use AI to generate something like this. Maybe English isn't their first language, or they are not skilled at communicating their thoughts clearly. If you're worried OP is simply using AI to propagate a viewpoint or divisive message, that's a more legitimate concern in labeling this "AI written".

Thanks to Reddit, I recently learned of immurement, or execution by encapsulating someone in a wall.

It has nothing to do with being a foreigner. All debt comes with risk. A Japanese person may also not be able to afford their rent if they don't have a job, and could end up declaring bankruptcy, and the landlord (or the guarantor) would be out the money in that case too.
I think it would be far more disgusting if OP kills themself because they can't dig themselves out from under this debt. OP should know that they have the option to walk away from this debt.

I am definitely sympathetic to the kids here. It’s not fair that they have to suffer because of the teacher’s mistake. And it’s a weak excuse to not fix the situation. But if they don’t fix it, that’s the lesson. Shit happens. Life is not always fair.
I had the same situation happen for college admissions to a friend in high school (in America). I intentionally went to the principal instead of the guidance counselor for admissions paperwork, because the guidance counselor was flakey. I got my papers in. My friend ended up not going to his first choice because his paperwork was sent in late.

To be fair, 2 years ago, even Canada was on the Do Not Travel list.

Hopefully your work has this covered, but given your timing in Osaka and finding your final place, don't forget you have to register your address within 14 days of arrival.
Your residence card will be issued at the airport.
Make sure you keep your phone charged on the plane so you aren't trying to navigate your way out of the airport with a dead phone battery, and so you can show your electronic CoE, which you will need. Personally I'd bring a hard copy of that. Make sure it's actually downloaded to your phone and accessible without an internet connection, in case you don't have data.

This is a reasonable question for someone to ask. In many countries, like the USA and UK, it would not be considered stealing and you would legally be allowed to keep an “unsolicited” delivery.
LOL, half a dozen types? This is a 60+ year old field.
LLMs, neural networks, logistic regression, genetic algorithms, decision trees, knowledge graphs, SLMs, Bayesian networks, hidden Markov models, k-means, N-gram models, expert systems, fuzzy logic, symbolic reasoning, and on and on. There are hundreds of types of AI. The term has been ambiguous since the first day people started using it synonymously with LLMs.
