No, I love 6v6 and I learned to play the game that way so it feels very natural but it's been pretty neglected. I try to be consistent but I'm not a pop off type of player. I enjoy the team play better in 6v6 and a lot of times I feel more impactful than if I were playing 5v5

binibibi

Bad DPS, if I need to play a counter, if I need to do my own dmg, or if it's just a bad comp on either side to force mercy

binibibi

Yes. I thought it had something to do with my bonds and tried to change it and it permanently disabled my rez button 😭😭

binibibi

I would like the cool down reduced but I would take some nerfs in response. To health, to healing, to DMG boost, making it less accessible, or adding back some limitations like old super jump. Though completely reverting it may be a hinderence. I liked when her kit was synced better and had more skill expression. The meta doesn't even suit her right now so I don't think it would make her much better than she is. I wouldn't even care if they got rid of rez if I had something more useful to use more often. She had the same movement in season 1 and she was awful because the meta didn't suit her and I doubt it will anytime soon.

I just ask if we can try to switch it up unless I have a specific pick in mind. But at the end of the day if they're having a rough game it is what it is. Sometimes they just play poorly and the game is unwinnable. All you do is try your best and focus on getting better. That's all you really can do. I flex a lot more than I used to and even if I make a good swap you can't always save people or flip the game off of that. That's just how it goes

I had to ask a friend to clarify lol. I know Russian but it sounded weird to me (it's my 2nd language). Apparently it's how athletes greet each other. Фузкульт(ура) - PHYSical CULTure. So it's literally like: physical culture hello

That's how I understand it. It sounds weirder to me in English

binibibi

Disable chat for sure. Balance just depends. In qp you'll get a wide range but games are still winnable. I'm assuming you won't be playing comp where that's more of an issue. Honestly if you're a decent player yourself you can carry most qp, arcade, mystery heros without it being terrible. If you're both low MMR it will put you around that level, if you're higher MMR than your kid then the enemy team will have a similar distribution although it's not always mirrored across roles so it may be slightly unfair at times. But I've never had a horrible losing streak in qp

binibibi

Just don't. He clearly doesn't respect you at all. You should protect yourself and get away from him. It's like he's dangling it in your face at this point

binibibi

I'd be pissed if my spouse didn't tell me right away. Your son should get an evaluation/exam immediately. Predators don't always have a preference as sick as that sounds. I won't judge you for whatever you choose to do but this needs to be reported immediately.

I'm so sorry this is happening to your family.

I agree. I'm a mercy main and for a while I just wanted better movement. Her kit has been desynced since s3. I would take more HP nerfs, a nerf to DMG boost, or healing. But I want good movement and I was hoping there was a perk for it but there isn't. I like to triage. My best games and the ones that are most fun are games I can triage. It's much better in 6v6 because you actually can. But it's not fun standing behind a wall, pocketing the same person, and they take away genuine skill expression. I personally didn't want her movement changed like this. I feel like characters need to be more specialized. Making them too much of generalist is/has cause problems. I feel like the OW1 roster has felt that for sure. Rein is a good example. I wouldn't mind them making her movement less accessible either. She had a low skill floor and higher skill ceiling than people gave her credit for in OW1. I want that back.

binibibi

They just take a while especially because so many heros are mobile with very different hitboxes. It's awkward. I don't play CS so I'm not sure what any of that means tbh but OW was my first fps so I didn't develop the best habits. I focused on cross-hair placement and making sure I was looking at my target not my cross-hair. It seems silly but I am much better when I consciously think about looking at the person.

These might be really silly to you and fair enough lol. But if in game features haven't helped you this all I can think of other than keep playing and getting familiar with how people play

binibibi

Absolutely. It really sucks because a lot of it comes down to being a team player. Even if you don't talk just knowing you have good chemistry with your team makes it more fun. I'm not a fan of how counter swappy the game is but if I feel like my team is good, has my back, we can make plays in good faith, it's great. But when the game feels like me and the rest - then it's not so fun.

binibibi

I feel like it's not one answer. I think it could be:

  • Ego: people don't want to switch off their main even if they get countered because they think they can handle it or the team should play around them more so it's not "their fault"

  • One-Tricks: probably not a huge population rn but someone may only play one hero to a good level. So whatever they're doing on their main is as good as its going to be

  • Lack of team mentality: a lot of people don't work together or communicate so they just go off of vibes or tunnel vision on themselves. But just because you're doing okay doesn't mean your team is and not making a swap because "it's not my job" or "they just need to do x, y, or z"

  • Experience: OW1 wasn't as focused on swapping in my experience. Some people may carry over that mentality to a degree or just not want to play the counter swap game or change their play style even though it just doesn't play out like before.

  • Attitude: People seem to be okay saying "gg go next" even on winnable games if it's not going their way. They've already decided the game is lost so early on that they just play through the game to get it done rather than adjust plays, picks, and play style. Or just communicate. It's their way or no way.

I don't hop off gens at 99%. I don't care if I get pulled off. I'm typically someone who stays on gens anyway maybe if I was death hook at 1-3 gens I'd run. But especially if it's the last gen the killer can pull me off death hook or not.

binibibi

I doubt half of us would pass a mental health screening

My old job used to do this. I reported it to my manager thinking it was a mistake because I was giving interviews but never saw the actual job posting. She always ignored it. I felt so bad and didn't stay long after that. Companies who do this are beyond toxic. The one I was at was basically abusive. We were forced to waste our time and other people's time. When you do go in-office, they would basically love bomb you until they thought you'd stay. Then they would just unleash on you. They would take you on business trips then drop it on you that you have to pay for a lot of it yourself, no reimbursement for travel, berate you in front of people, embarrass you for mistakes. I was so stressed I got physically sick.

Maybe this is an overreaction based on my past experiences but I wouldn't tell anyone I care about to take the job even for a little bit. That red flag is too red for me

binibibi

Nerf her however you want but give me back that movement! Please Blizzard, I'll buy a skin!

binibibi

It's end of the season and a comp drive. I think most games are going to be terrible. More so than usual and I don't have endless free time to play. But I can only be so mad when it I knew it would be like this. The matchmaker isn't perfect by any means but focusing on all the games you don't win isn't going to make the game feel better.

binibibi

Mine is public. I'm not ashamed of my stats and people are less toxic when you're shameless. Also if they ask me to swap and I say no they can peep that 36% win rate lol

binibibi

It's about burst. She can do a lot of DMG and healing but it's not as immediately impactful as bap or ana for example. She's also lacking in other utility like speed, anti, suzu. There are other supports that can do pretty much what she does but with higher impact and quicker.

binibibi

It might be time for a break tbh

binibibi

As long as you play well consistently it doesn't matter. I've had some rough games but I've made it work today. Sometimes games are just going to feel bad or you don't play as well. I've been focusing more on being consistent and it's helped me. If you do the right things you'll eventually rank up or carry games that seemed unwinnable. You also have to be flexible. Randos aren't going to know how you expect to play so you kind of have to make up for their weak points. Some games are unwinnable. Gg go next

binibibi

It wasn't nurse. I was killer. It was a Meg and maybe a Leon. But the Meg was blatantly cheating

binibibi

The only game I got without bots had a blatant cheater. It was miserable

binibibi

I can't remember their name but they played Meg at least for that game. They would crouch and float across the map or straight up teleport.
