I enjoyed the talk on rooting the biology of a creature into the world. I wish there were more things to do in the afternoon in the summit building that ended mid-afternoon for those of us that needed to leave early. The vendors booths got sparse by the end of the day as they were putting up discounts, which meant that I should have bought some things that caught my attention earlier in the day than I did.

I was really surprised to not see a Nintendo booth.

I wanted to check out the indie games but was not comfortable with how small the space was.

Just here to add that you can use a debit it credit card to take the bus. Scan it three times and you've got a day pass on that card. Just use the same card to get on every bus that day. The Umo app works the same way.

Blue Bayou was good with my gluten allergy, I still had a Monte Cristo! (But you have to request it ahead of time.) Lamplight Lounge had good options for me. I got pepperoni pizza from the place in ToonTown. I know that I ate more in the parks, but I don't remember where.

Portland has many of these. I think they're technically privately owned and spaces are rented out. They call them Pods. At least one has drag queen bingo weekly.

Most businesses and places to eat will be closed on the 4th, of be concerned about a real meal. Everything else shouldn't be much of an issue.

I loved the first book! It's been a while. I will need to re-listen to it and then start the others.

The entire book is yearning between her and Suzanna, even when she's with Martin. I didn't care for the ambiguous ending.

I've had this exact problem. They ate the flowers in my flower beds. I let my dog chase them out of my yard. My neighbors didn't care until I told them that I'd start telling local authorities. Didn't have a problem after that.

There's also the Kulshan HEMA club if you want to do fencing or sword fighting.

I've made a few matches on Her, but haven't actually gone out on a date from it yet. (Her is a sapphic/NB dating app.) It also includes Canadians if you set your distance preferences far enough.

Bumble feels dead to me based on my preferences, and about half of the people on it seem to be ethically non-monogamous so your mileage may vary. No Canadians in my feed.

I take it from Bellingham every time I fly out and sometimes just to get into Seattle at a good time. I love them. I have had problems with Flixbus' (competitors) patrons, timing since they come from Canada, and their customer service.
