I added it to my Apple Wallet just to have it but so far the 5 or 6 times I’ve tried to use it, the place didn’t accept it and still required a physical ID. One of them being ORD which was annoying and surprised me cause I thought the TSA was the main one to start accepting these. Oh well.

In general, I don’t think they will be mainstream accepted until all states have them (only like 20 states so far have the program) and even then after that it becomes the norm like how tap to pay took about 5-10 years to catch on and be common. So realistically prob 10-20 years until it’s common.

Again, it’s TECHNICALLY not a marketing email (grey area subscription related email), so there is nothing to turn off.

A subscription/transactional related email like that isn’t considered a marketing/promotional email so they don’t have to include any opt-out links. Not saying I agree with it, but just pointing out that is why it’s not included, and it’s not breaking any rules by not having it.

It’s been years, they are NOT going to fix this. Just use this https://spotifyshuffler.com/ and call it a day. It works well, and does what you want. Then you can stop using shuffle in app all-together.

HOWEVER, with that said, there are still better options in Chicago of course. But mainly just calling out that it isn’t like some “basic microwave dish chain” place.
